AS THE NEXT FEW DAYS ACHED BY, ALLURA EVETINEhad made sure to avoid her peers at any costs. There had been no sighting of Cardan in days ━━━━━━ though she'd heard the rumors he was drunker and meaner than ever. She'd also been ducking Jude's nightly visits and meetings with the Court of Shadows. Of course, this was foolish of her, but Allura needed some time to think. That if perhaps being here, controlling the Palace and preserving their crown, was really the best place for the faerie. After all, what had she truly achieved? Her spies had secrets that no one believed and the Council had shunned her sociallly. Things were as they always were, a mess. A mess she wasn't yet sure how to clean up.
Perhaps a bath would help her.
After all, it was the afternoon before the Hunter's Moon and Allura must be ready.
