Azur lane base – dockyard with y/n and Mikasa
A couple days has passed and the first wave of standardized modernization has gone through for the crimson axis destroyers installing them with the most modern radar technology and better engineering spaces to bolster their engine efficiency, their main battery outfitted to better mark 5 versions as well as chaff dispensers , a single CIWIS mount and a single dual light SAM missile system capping out their standard average tonnage for all destroyers. Currently Mikasa and y/n were overseeing the Sakura empire destroyers first
Mikasa: oh, wow this is wonderful
Y/n: yea it really is now I couldn't make a standardized VLS system for everyone due to some of their ships unable to handle the weight offset and that the hull sizes differ from faction to faction so I gave the Sakura empire a specialized light VLS system capable of firing a total of 4 rocket propelled torpedoes seeing as that's your specialty and another 2 anti-ship missiles both with a single reload, that's why ayanami there as you can see has two long dual tubes where her torpedoes were and that she had a single quad torpedo launcher
Mikasa: I see they remind me of casemate slots just longer funny to see the same concept being used1

They then carry on down to the exercise section where the girls are getting used to the new weights and looks of their rigging as well as firing their VLS and engaging dummy missiles with their CIWIS and oncoming ones with their anti missile missiles
Mikasa: that sound is quite...interesting
Y/n: I love it sounds divine
Mikasa: hahaha
Just then Akagi joins the two, she first bows to Mikasa then moves to Y/n tightly hugging him
Akagi: shi-ki-kan~
Y/n: Akagi hey there still on the job I see
Akagi: of course, I must ensure they don't have any issues especially the torpedoes making the first oxygen based was already a horrifying journey for us
Y/n: where's kaga I thought the two of you would be working together
Akagi: oh she's working on the new jet prototype you requested for the Sakura empire carriers she's named it the "Kikka" and needs a day or two before we can run tests
y/n: oh nice work *rubs her head*
Akagi only smiling still hugging him a couple minutes pass and she lets go bidding farewell to go towards the destroyers, Mikasa and Y/n then venture downwards where all the iron blood destroyers where they found Bismarck and peter Strasser inspecting Nimi( Z-23) ship while Strasser was explaining to them the modules on board their inspection was brought to a halt seeing both Mikasa and y/n approach them, they all exchanged their greetings
Bismarck: apologies, kommandant may I speak with you privately
y/n: uh sure, we'll be back guys
Bismarck and y/n leave the ship standing to the side
Bismarck: kommandant
Y/n: Bismarck I wanted to apologise for being insensitive I know understand what
Bismarck: kommandant stop, it was wrong of me to assume you understood my anger and for that I would like to apologise that being said I reviewed the video you and Allen made and I am not opposed to the idea of my hull being disgraced- ah I – mean altered just leave my secondaries alone
Y/n: *sighs* alright then I got an idea for how to work around it but your weight will increase a lot
