An hour or so has passed since Y/n and Mikasa were "attacked" by friendlies, while peter Strasser was going through some research designs while Y/n was resting on a couch irritated as Taiho was tirelessly manhandling his tails, after a few more seconds Mikasa woke up standing in a fighting posture she then noticed the group stare at her

Strasser: apologies officer we attempted to capture anyone who infiltrated the base as I figured it might have been beneficial to our cause capturing a siren

Mikasa: I believe such a method would not work using simple logic but trying never hurts well sort of.... *Turns to Taiho* Taiho why are you here were you not supposed to be out fighting?

Taiho shook before standing up and bowing towards Mikasa

Taiho: forgive me lady Mikasa, the dumb fox- ah I mean Akagi asked me to remain here and help Akashi with things I'm only here because Strasser asked me for help, I promise

Mikasa: *sighs* ok

Taiho then stops bowing and goes to sit on the chair like an elegant lady, Y/n only looked at Taiho confused however he noticed she continuously licked her lips the longer he stared

Y/n:(I have half a mind to tell her what you just did but I'll be kind and tell Akagi or maybe even Roon) hehehe

Mikasa: shikkikan are you alright

Y/n: wha- oh yea I'm cozy just thought of something stupid

Mikasa: I see.... though to be truthful I believed nagato was spewing things about you being able to shapeshift like in the old stories of the tanukis

Y/n: it's not shapeshifting its me altering the molecular genetics within my body

Mikasa: umm is that not what I said? just normally

Y/n: you're missing the point shapeshifting is just a gross oversimplification. shapeshifting is the equivalent of wearing another outfit over what you're already wearing while altering molecular genes is changing the colour of the same outfit without changing anything

Mikasa: why is this something you feel enamoured to fight for?

Strasser: officers I believe we are losing focus here, do you have an idea what might be casing this

Mikasa: oh yes, the sirens had attacked the bunker directly I believe there was an explosion of some kind where the hospital section was as above it was a crater large enough to fit the other rooms, thankfully I found him under a large amount of rubble but he has been saying is having issues with his energy

Strasser: hmm this is quite problematic I don't have the tools to measure energy readings with me right now, but I can collect it to give a full diagnostic

Y/n: no no ill be alright its not like its bothering me

just then peter Strasser radio began making sounds due to someone trying to contact her, tweaking the dials a bit the connection was made

?: umm hi miss Strasser its Helena

Strasser: greetings officer how may I help

Helena: Hi Strasser umm, we are currently coming to your location with the commander-

Y/n: his alive?

the group was shocked to hear Y/n say that

Helena: Mister Y/n is that you? ah-

?: Y/n dude you're alright I thought-

Y/n: Relax I have taken worse thrashings though could we meet by the Sakura empire section I want to take Mikasa to her ship so we can help with the invasion
