we were all in me and bri's room. coolie said she wasn't in the room when he got up and nobody knows where she is.
"y'all i'm sure she's fine" her mom said
"she at least could've texted all of us and told us where she went" trippie said
i looked over at bri and ayleks and they haven't said anything the entire time we were looking for mari, nor did they look worried.
"do y'all know where she at?" i asked them and they both just shook his head
"y'all we ain't even ask jah, maybe he knows" trippie said
"why tf would he know?" coolie said kinda with an attitude
"yea, she don't even wanna be around him" i said
"well we can at least ask him" trippie said walking toward the door
we all followed him out and went to jah's room. i started knocking on his door repeatedly and loudly.

someone was knocking on the door over and over. i heard mari groan.
"bae please get that" she said and rolled off of me
i didn't know whether or not she meant to call me that but i got up and walked to the door.
i opened it to see ski and the rest of them. i walked from the door, leaving it open and letting them in. i went to go sit back on the bed.
"nigga have you seen mari" ski asked me
i just stared at all of them. i'm guessing they don't see this person laying behind me under the blanket. i sighed and turned around and shook her.
"whattt" she groaned
"they looking for you" i said
she peeked her head from under the blanket and rolled her eyes

i laughed and they walked away. i sat up and scooted to the end to the bed, next to jahseh.
"you okay?" i asked him and he nodded
"you know, you called me baby this morning" he said
"i know" i said back
