Buck pov

~time skip to like the day after Buck gets the cast off.~

Today was the day of Bobby's monthly bbq at his and Athena's house.

He pushed the bbq back a couple weeks so i could go.

Ever since i got my cast off my legs been hurting but i tried to push the feeling away and ignore it.

I figured i had just done too much with my leg too fast.

I decided that today at bobby and Athena's i'd do as much socializing as i could while sitting.

Maddie had no idea my leg was hurting and if she did know she'd take me back to the doctor and im tired of doctors.

When the time came to go to Bobby's I took like 4 Tylenol and 2 Advil before we left to help the pain.

When we got there there were no cars around anywhere i figured that maybe we were the first ones there.

How wrong i was.

When me and maddie knocked on the door Athena answered.

"Hey Athena"

"Hello buck its nice to see you back on your feet again."

"Yeah its nice to be on my feet again."

Im still talking to Athena as we walk in the house when "SURPRISE!" Interrupts the conversation.

I jump

I turn to maddie smiling. "You knew about this?"

She nods smiling.

I continue down the stairs to go say hi to my friends when bobby pushes Eddie closer to me.

I hug Eddie first.

He keeps his hands on my waist after I pull out of the hug.

I keep my hands on his shoulders.

After he lets go i go to hug bobby hen and Karen.

After i hug everyone and thank them all i go into the backyard where bobby is cooking on the bbq and everyone is chatting.

I chat with Eddie and Chris for a while. I walk over to where maddie and chim are sitting.

I sit on a chair beside maddie.

I stay quite.

My throat starts to itch.

I start coughing.

Maddie looks over at me.

"You ok buck?"

I nod still coughing.

I cough into my hand.

Its wet but i figure its just spit.

When I take my hand away from my mouth everyone looks at me terrified.

I look at maddie.

"I... i dont." Is all i say before i pass out.

When i start waking up everything is bright.

I look around im still in bobby and Athena's backyard.

"What happend?"

"Well Buck you coughed up a bunch of blood and then passed out. Are you ok? Do you know why this happened?"

"I dont know my leg had been hurting for a couple days but i let it go thinking I'd be fine."

"Your leg had been hurting?" Maddie says frustrated.

Before i can answer her i see paramedics coming into te backyard.

They check my pulse and my oxygen.

They do all the standard tests and then they load me into the ambulance.

Maddie and bobby go in the ambulance with me.

I keep telling everyone im fine. But no one believes me which i guess makes sense.

Thanks for reading this chapter i hate it but oh well.
