𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐀𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐄, Amaryllis Lexington mindlessly scrolled on as she was attempting to leave the masquerade party after having attended in the name of her family.
It had been so long since a Lexington had graced the social circles of mystic falls with them being one of, if not the most powerful family in the town.
However, her family being so rich and powerful, drew a lot of attention to her family, especially from the other teens around her age.
Although Amaryllis was never one to partake in friendly encounters any further than the basic greetings, despite her human appearance she'd much rather avoid humans.
But it seems they refused to avoid her in the same way.
"Well, would you look who it is?" A captivating yet melodious voice spoke from behind the young brightly hair girl, causing her to stop as she rolled her eyes.
Just from the sound of her voice Amaryllis knew exactly who it was, because despite the young woman's charming voice her attitude towards the young Lexington was just the opposite.
Which was quickly revealed as Amaryllis turned around with a small fake smile on her face.
"Little Mary Marshmallow." Elena Gilbert teased with a smug smirk on her face as she continued to take slow steps towards Amaryllis, she'd been hoping she'd run into the smaller teen.
In all honesty, Elena believed she needed a pick me up after dealing with Katherine earlier in the night, and what better way of that would be than to let out her frustrations on the girl she used to back in middle school?
"Hello Elena," Amaryllis greeted trying her best to be cordial as she clasped her hands together in front of her, trying her best to ignore Elena's use of the nickname her mother gave her. "lovely night we're having, huh?"
It had been nearly a decade since Amaryllis's mother went back into the stars from which she came, despite those words sounding so ominous it was the blatant truth.
