𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐉𝐀𝐖 𝐀𝐒 𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐓, Cody maintained eye contact with the original vampire not recognizing him as the immortal brother to Klaus, mainly being as he was only barely a lackey.
Attempted to climb higher into Klaus's inner circle of vampires, to where he thought Elijah was simply an older third party that was also here to capture the doppelganger and with the way the man had previously stared, possibly devour the petite plump snack standing near the corner.
Speaking of Amaryllis, she could somehow feel her breath clench in her throat, her teeth softly biting at the inner corner of her mouth as she watched the two vampires interact mostly hoping for a moment to attempt some type of escape as she knew she'd dug her own grave coming here.
There was no reason in the slightest that she should have, but looking back she was glad she did, thanks to the three books in her hand that held so much information about her homeland and her mother, both of which she knew very little about.
"Who are you?" Cody asked putting on a tougher persona even attempting to stand taller despite the Original towering over him with a dark and sour aura, and seeing the anomisty that he knew would flow from any arrogant barely teenage vampire.
Elijah took no offense, despite no longer having a certain wild dog chasing at their tails, his brothers and sister were very less known compared to Klaus, however, he knew that in coming years if his face didn't ring fear in others, his name usually suffice.
"I'm Elijah." Elijah introduced and answered softly yet smugly as he smirked down at the vampire, more than overly aware of Amaryllis's sharp stare burning into the side of his face, causing a certain static buzz to run down his back.
The sudden need to rush along getting rid of too many witnesses especially those tied to his brother, for him to get closer to his treasure, his jewel, diamond; god, he hadn't obsessed over someone like this since Celeste.
However hearing the name slip from Elijah's lips, Cody had a visible reaction, his eyes widening as he glanced over at the vampire he had brought along with him, both of them growing a bit more on guard for a moment.
