𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌 𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐗𝐈𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓, the sudden sound of a doorknob rattling from the door between them and the exit of the apartment caused all of them to freeze.
Their heads swiftly turned towards the hallway where the rattling came from, no one moving as they currently had no clue of whoever could be in Slater's apartment with them.
Causing Amaryllis to immediately fall silent as she glared in the direction the rattling came from, softly calling on her extraterrestrial powers.
To which her eyes began to slowly glow their signature spirited emerald green color from pupil to iris, although the same tone didn't come to her hands as she preferred the elements of surprise.
"Stay here." Rose whispered over to Elena, the weakest of the three of them and therefore the most likely to be killed by whatever could be coming from inside the apartment.
Something that Rosemary would be addressing as she swiftly walked past Elena and over towards the set of light brown doors, pausing for a moment before placing both of her hands on the handles.
The vampire swiftly pushed open the doors eye scanning the room for a threat, only to at first partially notice someone peaking from behind a file cabinet.
