𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐒, Elijah, in the middle of gazing into Amaryllis's striking beauty, found himself realizing that he smiled more often in her presence.
The man's hand instinctively came up to twirl a peace of the straight deep orange hair between his index and middle finger, wanting nothing more than to smell the sweet fragrance flowing from the unique locks.
His gazing seemed enamored in every follicle of Amaryllis's uniquely ornate hair before his gaze moved on to her uncovered shoulder to her neck.
The vampiric abilities within him allowed him to see every hair on the naked piece of skin, skin that he would one day hopefully sink his teeth into consentingly.
But that was a journey for a day long away from now, Elijah knew given the fearful examining expression Amaryllis constantly toted.
"For you to get to know me," The Original Vampire spoke assuredly as his gaze moved back to her eyes, his hand softly falling back to his side reluctantly. "because I am..."
The man trailed attempting to find the right word to describe the feelings he possessed for the young woman, not just ones of obsession.
In his mind, it was so obscure, a truce peculiarity, although it wasn't the first time he'd been taken with women, yet none of them felt like this.
It truly transfixed him how his mind continued to rerun fantasy after fantasy of her, thought after thought centered around the woman before him.
"I am stupefied by you," Elijah answered honestly as it was the only true way to define it because, in all honesty, it did story him on how instinctive and natural his obsession with her felt to him. "by the glow beneath your skin, by the soft perfume that permeates your hair, by the mere feeling of your presence; you mesmerize me."
The original continued to quaintly speak, his voice sounding delicate and consistent rather than lustful as his eyes trailed from the beautiful texture of her face to her long flowing hair, then back to her eyes.
Amaryllis watched on as the vampire took her, searching his eyes for any kind of deep-seated sadistic lust, but from where she looked she saw none.
However, she honestly put nothing passed the being, who couldn't seem to live her mind and vice-versa.
"That doesn't make sense," She spoke neatly wanting to take a step back, but she truly wanted him to hear her as she attempted to reason. "you-you don't even know me, that's not realistic."
Although, instead of the anger or understanding expression she expected to engross Elijah's face, the man's smile only grew wider as he took a step closer to her.
"Why does it have to be?" He asked simply as he continued to gaze into her eyes as if he were looking into an intoxicating view of the stars.
In his mind, he was, because to him her eyes were the intoxicating view, something he could look into and never find himself able to forget their memory, and neither did he want to.
Yet, as he watched the eyes, he felt blessed as they simply rested upon him, scrunching together in a confused manner he felt his words were somehow not coming across as he wanted.
"Exit now." He instructed the women standing at the edge of the room, who'd never left but simply stepped away from the two of them for Elijah to gain the privacy that he wanted.
The man lifted his hand out in a simple flicking gesture to quickly show their presence was no longer needed.
The group quickly took heed as they almost immediately exited the area, knowing their human presence was no longer needed.
However hearing him call for the women to leave the room, Amaryllis couldn't help but get the wrong idea as she took a hesitant step back.
Throwing a desperate glance toward any exits of the room, once again remembering that she was in the room with an apex creature.
Yet Elijah quickly noticed both the fearful expression on her face and the way she took a step back away from him, causing three separate emotions to rise within him.
One emotion was amusement as he felt she thought walking away or even fleeing was going to keep away from him when even he couldn't keep himself away from her.
Whilst two and three were, concern and worry, the man was concerned as he would rather have her like him peacefully and wholeheartedly as he knew a forced love could never equate to the true thing(his family had been participating in the latter, a forced love, for decades).
Then there was the worry as he grew worried about her bolting, although knowing she couldn't truly rid herself of him, the thought of her even attempting to flee from his beaconing presence brought a bitter taste to his mouth, mind, and heart.
"Don't be fearful, I'd never harm you," He spoke calmly and honestly, at first looking hurt by her assumption, but quickly switching expression to a gentle welcoming smile. "and I'll continue to preach that to you until you're comfortable around me; until you believe me."
With that the man nodded his head assuredly, completely confident that she would eventually believe him and be around him comfortably and openly.
That being said, the emotions tormenting Amaryllis's mind were of a completely different font varying from confusion, wonder, doubt, and complete utter loss.
There weren't many emotions that hadn't flown through the young alien's mind and mental space, a deep-seated part of her at most points bewildered by the man's words yet capable of entertaining them.
Nevertheless, for some reason, it reminded her of her parents, the honeyed yet obsessive words that flowed from her father's mouth whenever her mother was even brought up, were the only other words she could compare to Elijah's.
They were beginning to somehow sound so similar in her head, but that was also something that was beginning to scare and confuse her.
"How do you expect me to be comfortable with you," Amaryllis asked seriously once again preferring to interact with the more rational side of her brain, the side that'd grown up following morals, human justice, and humanity. "you kinda did kidnap me?"
As she spoke her words came out kind once again attempting to not set off the original vampire, yet honestly, there was little that could set him off, other than the subject of her leaving.
This was quickly shown as instead of any kind of upset that Amaryllis was expecting, the man only once again fell into that bewitching dazed smile.
"Don't think of it as kidnapping," Elijah immediately instructed not wanting the woman before him to concentrate on the more negative parts of his actions. "you were mine the moment I laid eyes on you at the mansion with Rosemary, I could never steal away what's already mine."
