𝐖𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀 𝐁𝐈𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐅𝐔𝐃𝐃𝐋𝐄𝐃, Amaryllis was once again left in a state of questioning as she spoke to the original, every attempt to understand him going over her head completely.

More so because she couldn't figure out just why he had suddenly became so obsessed with her, never having an experience like this.

Not knowing whether to fight back or let go, she'd been letting things go for so long, what was wrong with letting another person do as they please, especially someone with such sweet sounding intentions.

"You want me to what?" She softly asked as she lightly tipped her head to the side, having always realized that they were in the clothing store for a reason.

However she didn't expect the brown haired man in front of her to simply request her to find a dress, especially in a store filled with so many expensive ones.

"Ever so hesitant," Elijah naturally remarked as his eyes wondered over the features of Amaryllis's face for the hundredth time, the vampire unable to stop until it's permanently depicted in his mind's eye. "I want to take you somewhere that'll amaze you, perhaps change your opinion of me."

As he finished speaking the man's eye to on a saddened expression, thoughts of her previous attempt to dissuade his affection, leaving a bitter taste in his mouth.

Although he quickly realized that he would have to go about things in a more humane way, humanity being something he'd once prided himself on having.

"And despite you already outshining every other being in your vicinity," He continued to speak, to praise without becoming embarrassed or nervous, simply transfixed again as he gazed down at her. "all must feel the thralls of shame and jealousy, whenever you are around, Saeta."

For the God know's how many times, Amaryllis found herself at a loss for words as she took in each and every compliment sent to her by Elijah.

Although for the sake of attempting to ignore them once again she focused on something different, something else that he was saying that could easily take over her mind.

"What does that mean," She asked softly unmoving as Elijah's right hand came to softly twirl the hair in the front of her face, his long slender fingers giving off a frost like no other. "saeta?"

As she asked the word softly slipped off her tongue in akin to whisper, the woman unaware of the tension that'd sudden built between herself and the original vampire.

Yet at the end of the day she hadn't a thing to worry about, particularly because of the soft amused smile that took over Elijah's face.

The end of his canine teeth just barely glinting out behind, what Amaryllis guess was, soft pink lips that seemed to dispel the richest of honey.

"Old Norse sounds so delicious on your tongue." Elijah compliment the girl again, his fingers frozen ever since the term had left the young Lexington's lips.

Lips of which she almost immediately pulled between her teeth, once again shocked by the man's level of confidence and beautiful words.

A blush quick to flow up to the young woman's face, unable to remain physically unaffected by the man's words.

"It means my sweet," Elijah spoke honestly before tilting his head, knowing the definition varied yet in the end it was the same. "or my sweetheart depending on the occasion, just a soft reminder to the sweetness of your voice, your tempting sweet skin, and the soft pearled sweetness of your laughter."

Elijah's string of flattering remarks pleasing to the ears of Amaryllis, although this time they didn't catch the young extraterrestrial by surprise.

Nevertheless, his words did cause tithe younger woman's ears to raise in amusement, she still attempted to challenge his words.

"And when have you ever heard me laugh?" Amaryllis asked as she gave a confronting tilt of her head, her arms coming to fold in front of her chest.

"Why I supposed," Elijah began to speak with missing a beat, meeting her challenge head on as he took another step forwards to her. "I've heard it every time I've awakened since I met you, like the soft symphony of Heavens most blessed angels as I arise."

And as he finished speaking the pure sincerity in Elijah's eyes seemed to freeze the shorter of the pair in her spot, Amaryllis usually knowing herself to be able to easily read other people.

But once again the Original's mind stumped her, however at the the realization of that she was quickly broken from Elijah's cavernous eyes.

"This is insane," She spoke calmly, the words more so being for herself as she quickly took a few more steps away from Elijah, turning away to partially shield herself from him.  "you're just throwing these words in my face to try and distract me from this insanity."

She finished off partially looking at the man over her shoulder, on some distant level waiting on him to say something that'll justify her staying.

Because in some locked away part of her subconscious she wanted to stay, to hear more from the original, more sweet words and more about the world she kept herself locked away from.

"No, I'm telling you things you should've heard," Elijah spoke honestly vamp-speeding over to the woman's side, lightly running his hand over her right shoulder and down her arm. "a thousand times over in this life time, the last and the next."

The man pausing his words as his right hand drifted back to Amaryllis's waist, his left lifting up her chin with his index and thumb in order to force a sparking eye contact between the two.

"But if you'll agree to my request," He continued gazing into her eyes, his thumb running over her chin willing to steel his usual silver tongue in order to give his jewel more comfort. "I'll attempt to hold my tongue to my best effort, granted your beauty is so vibrant there is no guarantee I'll be able to hold back."

"Fine," She finally conceded to the original's clear delight, the man's eyebrows raising whimsically as he finally got the answer he wanted until she raised her hand to pull his from her lips.  "just till tomorrow."

With that a bright smile bloomed on the older man's face, especially as he repeated her last two words 'till tomorrow' before raising his hand again in order to offer it to Amaryllis.

Ready to lead her to the dressing rooms were a few of the employees would be bringing dresses for the young Lexington to try on for their night out.
