He'd just finished confessing his love for the girl he could never have, a girl who was completely in love with his brother, a girl who was a carbon copy of his ex.
He didn't understand how idiotic he could be to fall in love with her, at first he thought it was just because they shared the same face, but now it was more than that.
Before Damon could dwell deeper into his horrible mental space or refill his glass with bourbon, the sound of someone lightly knocking on the door drew his attention.
"Jesus shit," He cursed under his breath as he lazily dropped his back not in the mood to be bothered, however, the knocks only got faster. "alri-alright, I'm coming!"
As he partially shouted at the door, the older Salvatore vampire slowly stood up from the couch, yet not sitting down with the drink in his hand.
"I said I'm coming," He shouted again towards the door as the knocks hadn't stopped, however, he held no enthusiasm towards whoever was on the other side of the door.
He reiterated that he wasn't in the mood to be bothered, especially as he swung the door with a sneer and an attitude already on his face and mind.
However before he could even speak, he was hit dead in the stomach by a bright orange fire-like starbolt, sending him flying across the room and slamming into the back wall.
Landing in a rather large heap on the ground, coughing and groaning as he held onto his stomach, the shirt slightly burned from where he was hit.
However, as he slowly got up onto all fours, the sound of heels clicking grabbed his attention causing him to look over towards the door where he'd just been launched from.
Standing there was Amaryllis in all of her bright alien glory, her hair a vibrant orange flowing from her head like lava, whilst her hands were surrounded in bright orange light, and lastly was her eyes that glowed the most vivacious emerald green.
