CHAPTER 22

"Anak naman…..sleep na hmm? Patulugin mo naman si mommy," bulong ko sa anak kong umiiyak at karga karga. 

Being a first-time mother is an incredibly rewarding yet challenging experience. From the excitement of anticipating your baby's arrival to the nervousness about parenting skills, it's a rollercoaster of emotions. There's wonder in every little development and milestone, but also a lot of sleepless nights and worries about doing everything right. The bond that forms with your baby is indescribable, making all the difficulties worth it in the end. It's a journey of learning, adapting, and unconditional love.

After I gave birth to Jasper mag apply na ako sa airline kapag hindi na siya masyado alaga. Ang moody ngayon ni Jasper dahil masama ang pakiramdam niya. Nagpa check up kami kanina ang sabi samin ay unahan ko na raw painumin ng gamot bago matutuluyan sa lagnat.

Wala si mama ngayon lumuwas ng Maynila dahil kailangan siya si daddy. Si Ellie naman ay nangangamusta. Sinabi ko kasi sakaniya ang pagbubuntis ko noong kabuwanan ko na. Ang sabi ko sakanaya wag niyang pagsasabi kahit kay Ezekiel.

When Jasper turned 1, ang communication ko sa pamilya ko ay mas lalong hindi ko naimagine na gagawin nila sakin. Daddy visited me once a month here at Tagaytay. Nag ku-kwento siya sa mga nakakasama niya sa trabaho. Sinampahan noon si daddy and he will spend 3 years in prison or makakapag bayad. 

Being the daughter of a CEO who faced a challenging issue in the past but has since learned from it is a unique experience. Witnessing my father's growth and transformation over the past few years has been truly inspiring. It wasn't easy for him to confront his mistakes and take steps to rectify them, but his dedication to self-improvement has been remarkable. As a family, we've stood by him during this journey, learning the value of resilience and the importance of acknowledging and rectifying one's missteps. While his past actions might have cast a shadow, his commitment to change has allowed us to see his genuine effort to make amends and lead with integrity.

The Grayson's and Mandi's  business rivalry was intense, fueled by competition and a desire to outdo each other. Their perspectives were firmly rooted in a competitive mindset, always striving to one-up the other. However, over time, Grayson's  and Mandi's began to recognize the potential benefits of collaboration. It wasn't an overnight transformation; it required putting aside our differences and finding common ground.

They started working together when my son turned 2 years old and Ezekiel is the new CEO. Discovering that their strengths complemented each other. Grayson's and Mandi's rivalry turned into mutual respect for each other's skills and expertise. The transition from being rivals to allies was a gradual process, marked by open communication, compromise, and a shared vision. Beside being a partnership in a business my daddy prioritizes my son and I safety.  Kahit na may communication siya sa mga Grayson ay hindi niya binubuksan ang topic na alam niyang ako at si Ezekiel lang ang may karapatan. 

When my son turned 2 nag apply na ako sa airline na pangarap ko. Hindi na siya ganun kaalagain. Naiwan ko na siya kay mama si daddy naman ay napadalas na ang pag uwi sa Tagaytay. When my son turned 3 lumipat na kami sa Manila dahil naroon naman talaga ang buhay ko at ang trabaho ko. Ganoon rin ang gusto ng magulang ko. 

Sa susunod buwan na lang ay may apat na taon na siya. Apat na taon ay sapat na upang malaman na ni Jasper ang tunay na buhay namin. Sa apat na taon na miss na miss ko na ang taong mahal na Mahal ko. Sa mga lumipas na taon hindi ko mapigilan siyang isipin kahit na kasama ko ang anak ko. Kung darating man ang panahon na magkita sila sana, sana tanggapin niya si Jasper na anak na sakin. 

"Samantha, anong balak mo sa birthday  ng apo ko?  next month na iyon! What if mag beach tayo?" Si mama, kumakain kami ngayon kakagaling ko lang sa trabaho. Tatlong araw akong hindi nakauwi dahil napapadalas na ako ang naka dikta sa duty pag ang lipad ay pang ibang bansa.
