Chapter 19

The next day I wake up early to go pick up my dress.

I get on the Hogwarts express and head to where Pansy normally sits

"Heyy," I say sitting down next to her.

"Morning." She says "guess what!"

"Uhh, you got a new dress?" I ask

"Well yes but not that, mother told me to break up with Theo, well 'break up' with Theo" she says holding air quotes.

"That great?" I say "ikk" she squeals

"So who are you going with?" I ask

"Blaise! Someone I actually wanna go with! Your going with Draco, right?" I nod. She seems so happy, I've never seen someone this happy to break up with someone.

"That's great, my only question is why your so happy to break up with him, it couldn't have been that bad?" I ask

"It wasn't bad, it's just that neither of us really liked each other so it was just fake." She says fidgeting with the ring on her finger

Which reminds me of the gifts "makes sense."

We get back to the common room and I give Pansy her gift "this is so pretty, thank you" she pulls me into a hug, she has gotten me a little bracelet with a heart on it.

"I'm gonna be back, I got Draco a present and I'm gonna give it to him really quick" I say and she nods in response

I knock on his door hoping that no one else was there, I hear his footsteps getting closer and he open the door "hi" I say

He pulls me into a tight hug "missed you." He says "it's only been a week, but me too." I pull back.

"Um I got you something, for Christmas." I say pulling out the small box "it's not much, but it's the only thing I could find." I hand it to him.

He opens it, and slowly slides it on his middle finger "I love it, thank you" he says "I got you something too." He hands we a little bag.

I open it too see a beautiful silver necklace with a lock on it "I saw it and the first thing I thought of was you." He says, I'm still in shock, this couldn't have been cheap

I pull him into a kiss "I love it, I love you" I say, and he kisses me back, but doesn't say it back.

Watching Snape teach us how to dance was excruciating, it should be illegal for him to dance, is this was the cruciatus curse feels like?

"Hey" Harry says coming up next to me

"Hey" I say while sighing

"What happened? You good?" He asks

"I just had to watch Snape teach us how to dance" he starts laughing "I-I want to burn my eyes out" I say, which only makes him laugh harder.

He finally catches his breath "well at lest you did have to dance with him"

I gasp "No way" my mouth is left open "did you have to dance with Mcgonagall?!" I say

"Not me, thankfully, Ron was talking while she was explained and she made him dance with her as an example, she kept telling him to put his hands on her waist." He says

It's now my turn to laugh "I wish I saw that, the only reason I'm jealous of not being Gryffindor is because I didn't get to witness that." I say
