"you packing to come see me then?" foolish's voice came through the girl's phone
"alex booked us a flight to mexico" she replied sighing "fucking alex"
"c'mon it'll be fun" he tried to cheer her up
"its three days with my parents and a dinner at my aunts" novah was currently folding clothes and putting them in her suitcase "i can already hear them asking me why i dont have a good job or when im bringing home a boy"
"well you can show them last month twitch statistics for your channel" she chuckled "and then you can tell them i dont have a passport yet but when i have one i'll be happy to go to their dinners"
"you are something else noah" she said, a smile on her face
"but seriously you owe me a trip here" he spoke
"i know but now i have to travel to mexico so we'll see after that" she replied
"how about when you get back from mexico instead of going back to LA you come to north carolina?" he suggested
"mm maybe" she said nonchalantly still putting clothes in her suitcase
"there's flights from mexico to RDU" he was looking for flights on his computer "where are you flying from?"
"monterrey" she replied closing her suitcase
"there's one with a two hour layover in houston" he told her "when are you traveling?"
"im supposed to fly back monday morning" novah said
"alright give me a sec" he said typing away at his computer while she went to her bathroom to pack up her skin care, she was flying tomorrow morning and had only started packing now once she finished stream "okay you have a flight MTY to RDU monday at 2pm with a 2 hour layover in houston and you should get here at like 8 or 9"
"what the fuck are you talking about?" she peaked her head from her bathroom trying to make sure she'd heard him right
"i'll send you the details and ticket now" he said "and i'll pick you up when you land"
"noah no"
"noah yes i'll see you monday have fun in mexico and call me or text me if you need anything byeeee" and just like that he hung up
"what the fuck is wrong with these guys buying me plane tickets without asking huh?" she asked brownie that had just walked into the room and jumped onto her suitcase looking at her with his big brown eyes "you are going to stay with auntie stell for a few days my love"

"sooo you may have to take care of him for a little longer than expected" novah said to her friend as they sat in the kitchen drinking margaritas
"oh?" stella raised her brow
"i had a bet with noah and he won so now im flying to north carolina instead of back here" she explained
"gotcha i'll take care of the child no extra charge for you to get your man" novah chuckled at her friend
"i wasnt paying you for my days in mexico either" the blonde stuck her tongue out to the brunette
"yeah whatever"
the two finsished their margaritas and while waiting for stella's uber the blonde took the time to go to the bathroom while novah put some of brownies toys in a bag and then the kitten in his carrier saying goodbye and promising him to be back soon, the cat as calm as ever just curled up on his carrier and went to sleep
