it had been two months since y/n and matt had moved in together.
they decided to move into an apartment complex, which was fairly close to the house the triplets had bought.
as y/n was cleaning the apartment, matt had gone out to run "errands".
little did y/n know, he went to get her a pit bull, her favorite dog breed.
once matt finally came back from being out, y/n walked over to him, "hi baby!"
"hey! i wanna show you something," he said with a soft smile.
y/n sent him a teasing glare before saying, "show me."
matt held up the pit bull puppy, causing a look of shock to take over y/n's face.
"a puppy?!" she exclaimed after what seemed like an eternity of silence.
matt chuckled, "yes, a puppy. it's a girl!"
y/n smiled widely before taking the puppy from her boyfriend's arms, cradling her close to her chest.
"her name's jayla," y/n beamed.
"welcome to the family, jayla!" matt exclaimed with a wide smile.
and with that, the couple spent the rest of the day, bonding with their new puppy.
