Sebastian's POV
Sebastian made his way down the stone steps towards the Quidditch's field, followed by the Slytherin team. Lucien Bole was next to him, practically beaming about the celebration tonight as if it was the biggest event of their lives.
"How did you manage to convince Grayson about inviting other houses?" The Beater asked with a besotted smile, making Sebastian want to roll his eyes in response.
"Your girlfriend suddenly had a change of heart." He spat the word like it was burning on his mouth. "We shall see how long she decides to let us have the parties."
"Hopefully until Halloween."
"Hopefully. But knowing her, who can tell anymore. Her opinion about things changes every bloody day." Even through the corner of his eye, Sebastian could see how Bole was giving him a sidelong glance, smirk on his face. He let out a grunt. "What?"
"Nothing." Bole adopted an expression of indifference, shrugging. "I'm wondering how are you going to tolerate each other now that you promised to help her with the houses fighting."
"With lots of alcohol and a pair of earmuffs."
They reached the gates of the field at the same time as the Ravenclaw team. Grant Page, their Captain and Seeker, was fully immersed in a conversation with another player while they progressed through the grass, allowing Sebastian to catch a few distant words that he was sure his opponent didn't want anybody else to hear.
"...cheated on... foolish ex-girlfriend... need to snog with someone else..."
It didn't take a great mind to gather what Page was spewing about, and Sebastian felt the visceral need to drop his broomstick on the floor, pull out his wand and hex the guy. The Ravenclaw boys tilted their head towards them, halting the conversation rapidly. Probably unaware of how much they had heard. Bole and Sebastian exchanged a knowing look.
"Sallow." Grant Page flashed a charming smile that felt rehearsed, as if testing the waters. "Good luck on the game today. I hope that..."
"I don't need luck."
Sebastian cut him off, marching by him and bumping on his shoulder with a clenched jaw. He had heard first hand what the Hogwarts gossip said of Page, and he could personally confirm most, if not all, was true. Sebastian felt bad for the girl that would end up in his bed as rebound.

He knew Ravenclaw wasn't competition. Could he have caught the Snitch in the first few minutes of the game?
Yes.But was he going to?
No.The idea was to make Page sweat a little. Ravenclaw didn't deserve it, but their Seeker did. And that was precisely why, once Grant had located the Snitch, Sebastian had flown side by side with him, pretending as if he was also trying to snatch it, just to end up slowing down the other player enough for the little golden ball to disappear again.
Page had glared at Sebastian with a bad tempered expression twisting his face, but he had simply sent an amused grin his way. After all, while they were both busy dancing around the Snitch, Slytherin was scoring points left and right. Those were always welcome.
And in the times Sebastian wasn't busy sabotaging the other Seeker, he had leaned back in his broom, reveling in the soft breeze of Autumn and the warm sunlight on his skin.
It was nice out still. His gaze became too curious, and it had moved inadvertently towards the Gryffindor stands, where his archenemy was supposed to be sitting. He saw her, next to Weasley and Onai, all three of them with blue scarfs wrapped around their necks in support of Ravenclaw. Of course she would do something like that to spite him. Because that was her reason specifically. In Sebastian's head, he couldn't conceive anything else.
