"WakeyYyy wakeyYy" I heard Larry say
"Good morning!" I said cheerfully
"What's got you in such a good mood?" He asked jokingly
"I'm not sure, I just am!" I replied
"Now get out so I can get dressed really quick" I told him
"Ok, ok" he said before closing the door behind him.
He hasn't shown any signs of liking me, but maybe that's just because he thinks I'm a homophobe, I think I'm going to come out to him today at our spot!
I opened the door and walked downstairs to find Larry talking with Tony and Collin
"Good morning guys!" I said cheerfully
"Morning Shrig." Tony replied back monotone
Morning!" Collin replied back happily, he never was one to hold a grudge for too long
"Are you ready to go Larry?" I asked
"Yea sure, let's grab bagels to eat on the way there!" He suggested
"Bet" I responded
I hadn't eaten in about 3 days now so I figured it would be ok to have just one bagel.
"Bye Tony, bye Collin!" I shouted as we closed the door
"You are actually so much happier today!" He said
"Yea, I guess I am" I said nervously
"Any particular reason...?" He asked once more
"I have decided I have something to tell you once we get to the spot." I told him
"Ooooo, can't wait!" He said excitedly
We walked the rest of the way mostly in silence, I was working through my head how I would tell him, and I figured he was intrigued with what I was going to tell him
We finally made it and I sat down on a log, signaling him to do the same
"So what did you want to tell me?" He asked
"Ok so you know how I'm part of the love cult right?" I asked him
"Yea, you tried to get me to join! How could I not know!" He pointed out
"True, so you know how they're super homophobic-?" I asked
"Yea I'm very aware" he responded
"What if I told you I'm not homophobic" I said
"And what if I told you I'm not even straight myself-" I said nervously
"WhaTtTtT?!?!, why didn't you tell anyoneee??" He asked, sounding shocked
"If Malcom found out I was gay, I'm not sure what he'd do, he's not one to just kick you out, you would need a punishment first." I stated
"So I was too scared to tell anyone because he might find out, also he had hammered into me that being gay was wrong, so I suppressed it in myself and didn't make the revelation until about a month ago" I said
"Malcom is crazy as fuckkk" Larry said
"Yea, I'm aware" I chucked nervously, remembering what had happened at the last meeting
"So I trust you with my secret! Please don't tell anyone else for now." I asked him
"Yea no problem, I'm the best secret keeper you'll ever meet" he said confidently
"How did you know you were gay? If you don't mind me asking?" Larry asked me
"We'll, you remember jack right, when I was younger- before I met Malcom, I had liked him" I said
"And I take it it didn't work out?" He asked
"Yea... definetly not" I said nervously
"I don't want to bore you with the details, so how is your day going?" I asked him
The rest of the time we talked about random things and what actors we both thought were hot, just stuff like that for a very long time until the sun started to set.
"We should probably head back, it'll be dark soon" I pointed out
"Yea probably" he said
We took a slightly different path so we could walk under trees to make it more aesthetic
"Ladies first" Larry said while he held a branch out of the way
"Why thank you" I said blushing, but it was too dark for him to notice thankfully
We got back on the sidewalk and started the long trek home. We had ceased the hot celebrity discussion since we were in a more public place and I didn't want anyone to overhear.
Before I knew it we were back home, as predicted dinner was already over, so Larry made himself some cereal for dinner, I wasn't hungry so I passed and went to talk to Paige
"Hey Paige!" I said cheerfully
"Oh hi Shrig, it's been a while since last talked!" She stated
"Yea I guess it has, I hadn't really noticed until now" I spoke
"So how was your day?" I asked her
"Pretty boring how was yours?" She asked back
"Mine was amazing thanks for asking!" I said
"That's pretty nice, any reason why it was amazing or was it just good in general"
"In general" I said
"We'll, I'm going to head to my room now, goodnight!" I told Paige
"Night!" She yelled back as me and Larry ascended the stairs to enter my room
We sat on my bed again and just started vibing. We talked about our favorite games to play and other topics we had already discussed but figured it was worth revisiting.
A while had passed and I was looking at a wall when I felt some weight on my legs
To my surprise it was Larry, he was still awake, he had just decided to lay down right there.
I looked at him and I saw blush creep across his face as he slowly realized the position he had put himself in
"S-sorry, I wasn't paying attention!" He said swiftly sitting up
"I'm fine with it if you wanted to go back to laying down" I told him
"Oh, alright" he said before placing his head on my legs again
We stayed like that silent until I heard some snores escaping from him. 'Of course he fell asleep that fast' i thought to myself.
I spent the next few hours admiring his features. I just gazed softly at him, looking at how his hair would move from the slight draft in the room, he looked so... perfect.
I had never felt this strong with Jack as I do with Larry right now. Like I could lean down and kiss him, but I would never do that without permission.
My eyelids grew heavy and sleep soon overtook me, it was comforting having Larry right there, I was sure I wasn't going to have any bad dreams tonight.
