Friends! I need your opinions!
I have two main theories for who Sophie's biological father could be.
I guess it could be someone else, but personally these are my top contenders.
Let me know what you think (or if you can make a strong case for someone else).
I think it's either...
1) Elwin, because she hasn't guessed him yet, but he's a character we already know, and he doesn't share an ability with Sophie—which if I recall, is something Forkle had mentioned as a criteria. That she wouldn't share any abilities with her genetic parents so they'd be harder to trace. And also because he has obviously cared deeply for her from the moment she came to the Lost Cities.
Or...
2) Tiergan, because he was already involved with the Black Swan, he has blonde hair like Sophie, and if they were that adamant that her Telepathy be crazy strong, it would make sense for her to already be genetically predisposed to manifesting as a Telepath. I think for the most part Forkle has been honest with her in regards to the few tidbits he shared about her genetic parents, but I also think it's possible that the comment about not sharing abilities with either of her parents could just be him trying to throw suspicion off of Tiergan. She already called Tiergan one of the nicest people she'd ever met, and he was so kind and encouraging to her right from the start.
Partly, I want to know what you all think because I'm burning with curiosity--so again, if you have a good alternative theory, please share.
But also---I'm wanting to know what the majority of my readers think in regards to the two options above, because it *might* come up in a story arc I'm working on.
LASTLY--AND I HOPE YOU'VE STUCK AROUND THIS LONG--I HAVE A FEW MORE CHAPTERS READY TO GO, AND A COUPLE OF OTHERS I'M SLOWLY WORKING ON, BUT LIFE IS GETTING REALLY BUSY NOW THAT SUMMER IS OVER AND I HAVE A LOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES, SO WITHIN A WEEK, I IMAGINE THE DAILY UPDATES WILL CEASE TO BE. I'LL KEEP THIS STORY OPEN SO ANYTIME I HAVE NEW CONTENT I CAN UPDATE, BUT IT'LL BE SLOWER GOING BEFORE LONG.
