chapter 16

BIBLE POV:-

SEVERAL HOURS LATER: Johnathan and I sat in the back of the booth of a restaurant near kinn's work place, kinn booked the whole place, we were the only ones here.
"I'm so sorry bibs" Johnathan looked terrible
"I should've known about it, i-"
"It's not your fault phi, dad- Mr sumettikul fooled all of us"
He slightly nodded as he gave a small smile and I smiled back, as much as he was Annoying...I missed him as well, but there was still a bit of chaos that we needed to discuss about
"Now that you noticed me..and kinn.. together"
"Bibs..don't tell me that-"
"Yeah, exactly" I nodded while a bit embarrassed
"You and Kinn? What the fuck?"
I cringed
"We didn't planned it, I swear, it just sort of... happened"
"You just "happened" to fall in bed with my best friend?"
"Don't be mad na phi"
"I'm not mad at you bibs, I'm mad at him, he should've known better!"
"And I don't know better?"
"You know what I mean bibs, you're kind of romantic but that kinn? Jesus Christ, bible...all he does is cares about his work"
"I admit it that he can be an asshole sometimes but he needs love and care like every other human"
"Do you love him?"
Alot of things in my life had been hazed up at this point but my feelings were clear, I didn't hesitated before answering
"Yes."
I may not know what was in my mind but I knew exactly what was in my heart
"I do"

JOSH LEFT : the next morning after threatening to kill kinn of he ever broke my heart, he was still uncomfortable with our relationship but he accepted after he saw how much I cared about kinn
And besides that kinn helped Johnathan too. Once we got back from dropping Johnathan at the airport, once we entered he captured my mouth in a searing kiss, I was shocked at the sudden kiss but I melted into him, letting his tongue and taste and touch carry me away to a land where my troubles didn't exist
God, I love this man.
My pulse thundered in my ears once we pulled apart
"Kinn.."
His fingers brushed against my skin as I looked at him
"I love you.."
His hand stilled, his expression fierce and strangely haunted
"You don't mean that"
"Yes, I do"
"I'm not an easy person to love"
"Good thing, I never cared much about taking the easy road"
I looked him straight in his eyes
"You are cold and harsh and I admit that you're a little scary as well but you are also patient and supportive abd brilliant and you inspire me to chase my dreams and drive away my nightmares, you are everything that I never knew I needed..kinn..you make me feel safer then anyone else on the planet"
I took a deep breath
"What I'm trying to say is- I love you..each and everything about you"
A smile ghosted his mouth
"That was quiet the speech"
He cupped my face and softly planted a kiss on my forehead as I smiled softly
"You're the light to my dark, sunshine"
He said in a raw voice, his lips brushed against mine as he spoke
"Without you, I'm lost"
Our kiss was even deeper this time, more urgent, but his response played a loop on my mind
You are the light to my dark. Without you,I'm lost.
Beautiful words that made my heart pound ...but I couldn't help and notice some of them were..
"I love you,too. Sunshine"
