Phone calls

When Lizzy left about 2 hours later I rang Jacksons number.
" Beep Beep Beep Beep" i had never felt so nervous about a phone call.
" Hello Fifi ." Jackson had the most calm and confident voice in the world.
"Hi I uh--just wanted to say yes."
There was a long pause then followed by laughing. " Yes to what? A marriage proposal? A trip to Spain? Oh i see you mean you want to meet me tomorrow , lets say 1:00?"
" Great I'll see you then."
"Good bye Fifi."
I hung up first. I had never met such a cocky guy in my life, and I liked it.

Mum and Jeremy came home late and I was still texting Jackson.
"What are you doing up?" My mum asked with an angry expression on her face.
"Sorry did I ruin your special plans for this evening?" I asked. Jeremy gave me a warning glare and kissed my mum on the lips. I wanted to gag.
"You're hilarious Sophia now get to bed!" My mum laughed. I love my mum to pieces and i will never understand why my mother married such an asshole. I hugged my mum and breathed in her sweet perfume then went to my room. I ran up the stairs and into my room,just
managing to escape the fake ghost who chased me up the stairs. I slammed my door shut and put in my headphones. At that moment I honestly couldn't wait until the next day.
