Bang chan's pov

I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed my eyes

"Where am I?" I thought, and I slowly got up, but it hurts and I suddenly knew what happened

Hyunjin and I were at the forest with my dragon, Nightshade, when we suddenly got ambushed by a few thieves
They were trying to steal my dragon, but I stopped them

The last I remembered that I pulled a knife out of my stomach

Suddenly the door of my Chamber got opened and I saw a young maid standing, one of my mother's handmaiden

"Oh, you have woken up, your grave?" The handmaiden asked as she put a few blankets on a table

"What happened?" I asked her, and the handmaid walked to me. She grabbed a bowel and cloth

She put the cloth in the water and then she put on my forehead

"The young boy, Hyunjin  brought you on your dragon back to the castle," she smiled

"Are they hurt?" I asked her, and the maid shook her head, and she put the bowel away

"Where is Hyunjin now?" I asked her

"I'm nog sure, your grace, but I thought the Queen said that he was at the library," she said

I slowly got out of my bed. Well, I tried because the maid stopped me

"Your grace, the Queen said you should take rest," the maid and she tried to put back in my bed, but I didn't want to

"I have to see him," I said, and I looked at her

"But your grace, your mother -"

"I don't care about what my mother said. I need to see him so help me with getting dressed, " I said with a stern voice, and the maid immediately bowed

"Of course, your grace," she said, and she grabbed my clothing, and I got off my bed, still a bit dizzy and weak in my legs, but it would get better

After a few minutes

After I was getting dressed, I walked out of my bed Chamber with the handmaid following me on my way to the library

"Your grace," she said, a bit shocked when I fell on the ground and she ran to me

"I told you -"

"I'm fine!" I grumbled, and I got back up, and I continued, and eventually, we arrived at the library, and I entered it without the handmaiden

When I entered the library, I saw hyunjin sitting at the desk reading a book with an old lady beside him

The lady was lady Griffin of House Griff, the oldest and most loyal family to our family, but sadly, due to a plague, most of her family is gone, and she was the only one who survived, kinda a wonder

Now she lives in the castle librarian of this library because she knows a lot about the houses, cultures, history, and geography. She is a very kind and humble old lady, she reminds me of my grandmother, the mother of my mother

She turned around and bowed when she saw

"Oh, your grace, I didn't you know where here," she said with a smile, and Hyunjin turned around

"Oh, I see your heald up again." he smiled, and I smiled at him back

"What are you doing, lady Gryphon?" I asked her as I walked to them

"I teached the young boy, Hyunjin, about history and the cultures and about your family, your grace," she said, and I could see Hyunjin reading a chapter

"Princess Belaera, the girl who rode on her dragon, Nemesis,"the bringer of justice" to  the South of Empiria"

It was said that she was a good dragon rider and fighter. She rode her dragon till her death. In fact She was my grand grand grand (8x) grandmother

After her death, it was said that her dragon never got mounted again, and those who tried were thrown off her back, so my family chose to let her free and spent her last days as a wild and free dragon

"That's true, I learned a lot about your family with the good lessons of lady Griffin," Hyunjin said, and she looked at her

"It's all my pleasure, my dear. You remind me of my son sometimes, " she smiled

"Lady Griffin, can you leave us for a few seconds please? I asked her , nd she nodded , nd she walked away

"Do you mind going for  a alk?" I asked him

"Of course, your grace." he nodded, and he got off the chair, and he put the book back into the shelf

We said goodbye to lady Griffin, and we walked out the library, and we started head off to the gardens of the castle

A few minutes later

"So nymphs helped you?" I asked Hyunjin as we were walking in the castle gardens

"Yes, the nymphs helped me but under one condition," he said as he looked at the flowers

"What condition?" I asked him, and I stopped walking, and he looked at me

"Well, when we are crowned, you have to make a law, a law to protect the last of nymphs and their lands, waters," he said, and he looked at me

"I, Chan of House Bang, first of my name, heir to my father's throne and thr crown . I promise you this I will make a law for the nymphs, " I said while I grabbed one of his hands, and he smiled

"Your grace, is that Nightshade?" He suddenly asked as he looked at the tiny bush of Nightshade

I nodded, and I walked to it

"Aren't those dangerous?" He asked as I ripped one flower of it, and I walked back to Hyunjin, and I stood in front of him

"Nightshade may be a dangerous flower, but it's a beautiful one, and that's how my dragon got her name." I said I put the flower between his ear and hair

I looked at him into his eyes, I never realised they were baby blue.. the Hwang beauty is really something

He looked at me, and I slowly leaned to him, and our heads were really close, and our lips were almost touching

"Your grace, we can't do this," he said a bit flustered, and I sighed

"What was I doing?" I thought, and I leaned back

"I'm sorry, you're right, and maybe we should head back to the castle," I said, and I grabbed his hand, and we walked back to the castle
