Hyunjin's pov

"Get your dirty hands of my husband!" I heard my husband, Chan shouting and I saw walking to us with his sword pointing at us

The woman nodded to the others and they started walking to Chan and she looked back at me

We heard two groans and the woman looked back and she saw that two were slain by Chan and he continued his walk

Two others ran to chan but before they could even attack, Chan got them first and killed them with his cold hands

The woman widened her eyes, she is alone now and she stood behind me and she put the knife against my throat

"Don't come closer or your husband will die and your unborn child" The woman dared and Chan came closer, I saw the rage in his eyes

"Stop or else-ahh!" Syrinx suddenly grabbed her with her mouth and she ripped her head off and threw her body on the ground and she roared

Nightshade and Stormdancer roared too

My sight suddenly started to fade and before I could know I got doen on my knees and I fell forward

"Love!" Everything went black

Chan's pov

"Do you need anything, your grace?" Katherine asked and Jaehaera stood beside her and I shook my head

"Take some time for yourself" I said with a smile and they nodded and they left our bedchamber and closed the door behind them

I grabbed a wet cloth and I put it on my husband's forehead who didn't still wake up and I looked outside of the window and I saw Syrinx standing on the roof, hoping for him to wake up

He and Syrinx has a amazing bond, Syrinx saved him multiple times and Hyunjin saved Syrinx too. Their bond is special

"Please wake up" I whispered and tears started building up

"I'm so so so sorry, I did this to you. I'm such a terrible king and husband, maybe the cruel fits me" I whispered and tears rolled down my cheeks

"I understand that you hate me, I deserve it but don't leave me. I can't live without you and our child" I sobbed and I suddenly felt Hyunjin's hand grabbing my hand

My eyes widened of joy when I saw hyunjin smiling at me and I hugged him and I cried

"It's alright" he softly said and he caressed my back

"I-I'm so so s-so sorry" I apologised between my sobs

"It's alright, love" he whispered and kissed my forehead

"No it's not! I scared you and I hurt you" I said and Hyunjin suddenly shut me up with a kiss and I was stunned of his action

"I forgive you" He smiled and I slightly

"I promise you, I will be a good king, a good husband and soon a amazing father" I said as I caressed Hyunjin's stomach and he smiled

Later the evening, Hyunjin pov

Chan and I were currently standing in front the funeral pyre where they burned the princess Hannah's body. Chan intertwined our hands and with his mother who held with her other son, Lucas

It was not a big funeral like from the king. Only loyal lords and ladies came and the court members like the servants, doctors, nurses, maids, handmaidens of the dowager queen and mine, Katherine and Jaehaera

Chan wanted to have remains split  , one part will be at the Bamg crypte where there family lays and  the other part wanted to do something else with

Later in the evening

"So you are here sister" I quietly said as I was flying high in sky on Nightshade's back with my sister ashes, Hannah always liked to fly and she spent her most time on the dragonback even me and Lucas together

I opened the pot where the ashes were and scattered them them into the winds

"You're free, free" I thought
