A few days later

I suddenly I heard knocking on my door

"I'm coming," I said, and one bedmaid opened my bedroom door, and I walked out of my Chamber where I saw my lady standing

She wore a black dress with a veil that was covering a bit of her face

"The Queen and her children are waiting for you," she said, and I nodded

"And chan?" I asked her

"He is with them" she smiled, and we walked to the others

When we arrived at the courtyard, we saw everyone getting on the coaches. The now dowager queen was sitting in the coach wearing all black, not any jewellery and she wore a black to cover her face and beside her was sitting Chan, who would be soon the king he wore a black suit with no jewellery and in front of them were sitting the princess, Hannah and prince, Lucas the younger siblings of the crown prince, Chan

They wore the exact same clothing as their mother and older brother

Jaehaera walked to the coach where the handmaidens of the Queen and the Princess were sitting

I walked to the coach where the royal family was sitting. I entered the coach, and I sat down in front of the prince . He looked at me with a small smile, and he held my hand

We stopped in front of the pyre and the dowager queen let go both her children their hands and she walked to pyre

She walked to the body and she bent forward and she kissed on last time the head of her husband last time and she grabbed the crown of the king and she walked back to us

Now it was our turn to walk to the pyre

First prince Lucas went to his father's body and bowed, then the princess Hannah walked to the body and she did a curtsy, she was almost hitting the ground

As last the crown prince Chan and I walked to the king's body and chan let my hand go and he walked to the body

"I'm gonna miss you, father," he whispered, and he walked back beside me, and he intertwined our hands

We walked back to his mother and his sister and younger brother. The Queen stood behind her two children with her arms around their shoulders, and we stood beside them

We saw Chan's dragon flying down from the sky, and she landed on the ground in front of the pyre

"Her old rider" I thought

"Fire, Nightshade!" Chan shouted and the dragon breathed fire and the body of the king was on fire

The dowager queen couldn't hold it anymore, and she broke out of tears
Two of her handmaidens came, and they tried to comfort hurt

I looked to chan and I put my head on his shoulder and he put his cheek against my head as we saw the fire burning...
