Jade awoke at 3:30am at the sound of a bang at first she believed it to be thunder from the storm raging on outside but after another bang and the sound of glass shattering, her heart started to race

She walked towards the doorway to her bedroom.

The bang came again and she jumped.

She opened the door and looked out her room.

She hesitantly took a few steps out before she heard the bang again.

She went back into her room and closed the door before trying to call Mariah, hoping she could come over.

She didn't want to call the police for something that was probably nothing .

But Mariah didn't answer.

She panicked as another bang shook the house.

She decided to call Sam.

After about 20 mins, Sam had arrived at the house, Jade heard him open the door.

She ran down towards him as he called out to her.

He was standing next to a broken window with a tree branch through it.

"Oh god" Jade said looking at the cause of the noise.

"Hey, are you alright?" He said staring at the girl who was clearly scared out her mind.

"Yeah I just didn't know what was happening and it was loud and freaked me out" she said embarrassed "god I'm such a chicken shit"

Sam couldn't help but let out a small laugh "It's alright, I can't blame you. Moving somewhere new and hearing banging and broken glass, definitely not fun"

"I'm so embarrassed. I feel horrible waking you up at almost 4am on a Saturday morning" she said basically face palming.

"No no, don't stress. I'm glad you called, if you need something don't hesitate to call me whenever" he smiled.

She couldn't help but smile back, his smile was so beautiful. She took the opportunity to really look at him.

The soft blonde colour of his hair, the way his lips were the most beautiful shade of pink that suited the soft blue shade in his eyes.

He was perfect.

He looked over at her with a raised eyebrow "Jade?"

"Sorry what?" She said stared back at him snapping back into reality.

"I said is everything okay? You kinda zoned out there" he chuckled.

"Oh yeah, sorry. I'm just tired. Can I make you something? Are you hungry?" She asked just trying to change the subject.

"You know what? Saving beautiful girls from scary branches does work up an appetite" he smiled.

"Well lucky for you, I'm a pretty good cook" she smiled.

Jade made coffee and and eggs Benedict before the two sat down to eat.

"Okay? Woah" Sam said after taking a few bites.

"Mhmm" Jade hummed with a smirk.

"That's so fucking good" he smiled after shoving another bite in his mouth.

"Thank you, thank you" Jade laughed.

After eating Sam pulled out his phone.

"Oh Jesus, it's already 6:45am, I should probably get going" Sam said.
