The Protagonist Delusion - Plot/Timeline Changes and Character Dynamics

can yall tell what AU ive been thinking abt this morning-?

this is mainly so later things make more sense.

the character dynamics will be pretty fleshed out, but the timeline stuff might not be so here we go.

Ages in this AU:

victim - unknown

Chosen -28

Dark - 26

Purple - 21

MT - "old" according to Purple and Dark (~late 30s-early 40s)

AvA 5

AvA 5 happens to its full extent, but Chosen and Dark don't fight about sending the virus to Alan. They press the button together. When they realized there were actually sticks on the PC, Chosen went to make sure they wouldn't be killed by the virus. (This was before Chosen and Dark knew who the CG were.)

Then the rest of AvA 5 happens, but with Chosen and Dark working together against first Alan, and then the CG as well. Then Second blasts Dark into wherever-the-fuck and the CG goes home as Chosen goes to looks for Dark.

AvM Seasons 1 & 3 and AvLoL

AvM season one goes exactly the same. There are no changes.

AvLoL happens, but the CG doesn't forgive Purple.

AvM season three goes similar towards the beginning, but the CG only got split up the first time (Episodes 23-25). The war ended in a draw with both groups injured to the point that the CG retreat, figuring the issue wasn't worth dying over. Purple eventually convinces MT to let go of the whole destroying Minecraft thing. (Not easily, though.)

Dynamics

Chosen and Dark are close siblings. They are very protective of each other to the point of flat-out murdering people.

Which isn't really surprising when you think about it.

Purple and MT aren't close in the slightest and did not end up with the wholesome family dynamic they did in canon. MT would consider Purple an 'acquaintance,' and has no strong feelings about them. In his mind, they aren't a friend, an enemy, or anything else, they simply are. Purple sees MT in a more negative light, considering how he used them. He still reminds them of Navy, a parallel of their abuser. Of course, he isn't that bad, but Purple can't help but notice the similarities.

victim has no close ties with anybody. Ze is known for being the mysterious one no one has much information on.
