Lieutenant Kaus walks next to me, leading me to my new house. It's not too far from the main building where we met. "So your house is separate from the rest of the base," Kaus says. I look at him.

"Why is that?" I ask. He doesn't look at me, just keeps walking. I notice the scar on his neck.

"Well," He says and I look away. I see the house he's leading me to. "It's supposed to be the general's house but a new general was assigned recently and he knew you were coming. So he opted to give you this house and he'd take another."

"What happened to the old general?" I ask as we walk up the driveway.

"He was murdered." He says and hands me a set of keys. "Don't share your keys with anyone. Your team will stop by after training. You should be settled in by then." With that, he walks away. I frown. Rude.

I walk up to the door to my new house and look around. It has a bit of furniture but most of it needs to be replaced. After looking around for a bit, I walk over to my truck parked over at the main building and drive it back to my new house.

After unpacking everything, I decide I should probably get some groceries. I grab my keys and walk towards the door. When I open the door, I see six men in front of me. I jump and put my hand over my beating heart. Three of them stand out in particular. All three of them have masks. Out of those three, one of them stands out. He's almost seven feet tall. My mouth hangs open when I look up at his face.

"Hey," One of them says. I turn to him and smile. He's an older gentleman and wears an old and dirty fisherman hat. "You must be Lieutenant Reynolds. I'm Captain Price."

"Nice to meet you, sir," I say and glance up at the giant of the group. "You can call me Star." I point to the giant. He wears what looks like an old black t-shirt over his head with the eye holes cut out. There are marks on it starting from the bottom of the eye holes and going down about three to four inches. It looks like it's bleached with tears. "What did y'all feed him? He's a fucking giant." A few of them laugh, but the giant isn't one of them.

"That would be Konig." One of the men says. He has a Scottish accent. "I'm Soap." He extends his hand for me to shake it. I shake it but raise an eyebrow.

"Soap?" I ask. "Like hand soap?" He smiles and laughs, nodding.

"Yes." He says.

"Alrighty," I say.

"I'm Ghost." Ghost says and shakes my hand. I raise an eyebrow again. He wears a black balaclava with a skull sewn onto the front. It looks like a real human skull, but I don't say anything about it.

"What?" I ask. "Was Casper taken?" Everyone laughs except Konig and Ghost.

"Haha." Ghost says. "Very funny." I smile and shrug. Each person introduces themselves. Everyone except Konig.

"We're your new unit." Captain Price explains. I nod and smile. "Do you need any help unpacking?"

"No, I don't think so," I say. "I'm just going to grab some groceries and look at some new furniture for the house." He nods.

"Well," Keegan says. I look at him, a skull painted onto the bottom half of his black balaclava. "If you want, we could help you move the furniture in."

"No," Price says. "We are going to help her with furniture and groceries."

Before I can protest, Ghost speaks up, "Don't try to protest. He won't change his mind." I smile.

"Okay then," I say. "Who's gonna get groceries with me?" Keegan and Price decide to get groceries with me. After getting groceries and moving all the furniture in, I make dinner and dessert for everyone. We all sit down at my new dining table and get to know one another. I notice Konig stays quiet the entire time.

"So, what have you read about us?" Ghost asks. I look at him and smile.

"How do you know I read about you?" I ask.

"Cause they did it to all of us," Gaz says. I look at him and nod.

"Okay," I say. "Well, I'll start with you then." I go around the table and tell everyone what I know about them. I save Ghost and Konig for last. I look at Ghost. "I know about your childhood. What your father did to you. I know about Roba and what he did to you. And I know your real name." Ghost looks at me shocked. I look at Konig knowing that I only have to say a single word and he'll know that I know. "Kilgore." He looks at me angrily.

"Shut the fuck up." He says. I raise an eyebrow. He stands up and slams his hand down on the table. "Don't ever say that name again!" He says something angrily in what I assume is German and leaves, slamming my front door behind him.

"What the hell was that?" Gaz asks. I shrug and glance towards the door.

"I think I should get some sleep," I say and get up, gathering some of the dishes on the table. Everyone leaves but Keegan stays to help. "Thanks."

"Of course." He says as he dries the dishes for me. "What was that with Konig?"

"Nothing," I say and keep washing the dishes.

"He seemed very angry," Keegan says. I nod. "What does Kilgore mean?" I look at him and smile.

"Nothing," I say and help put the dishes away. "Thank you for helping with clean up."

"Of course." He says and watches me put the rest of the food away. "Have a good night Lieutenant Reynolds."

"Call me Star," I say and look at him. He nods. "Have a good night." Once he leaves, I take a much-needed relaxing shower. After my shower, I hear a knock at my front door. I wrap a towel around my body and look at the time. It's almost eleven at night. I sigh and walk downstairs to the front door. I look through the window and see Konig and Ghost. I groan and open the front door. "It's eleven at night. What are y'all doing here?"

"Konig is here to tell you something." Ghost says.
