Konig doesn't mention my nightmare at all. I spend the next few weeks getting some extra training. Konig offered to help train me so I took advantage of that. All I really needed was a way to release my anger. And he helped me find multiple ways to release it.

Konig and I are training in the gym when Price and Soap walk in. They catch me off guard and Konig swipes me feet out from under me. I groan in pain as my back hits the hard gym floor. "Ow," I say. Konig chuckles and extends a hand to help me up, which I gladly take.

"Glad to see you're getting better." Price says. I nod and give him a small smile.

"Thank you sir." I say. I've really only been training so hard to get my mind off the frequent flashbacks and nightmares. "I'm going to go home and take a shower. Have a good night." I don't give them time to say anything. I quickly head to the door and leave.

It doesn't take long for me to get home. When I do get home, I immediately take a nice hot shower. My thoughts wander back to that night. The night that will forever be burned into my memory. "Shit," I say quietly, trying to push the thoughts from my mind. Thankfully, the doorbell rings which gets me out of my own head.

I quickly turn off the water and dry off. I wrap a towel around my body and go downstairs. I open the front door and see Keegan standing in front of me. "Hey," I say and move aside so he can come in.

"Hey." He says and walks inside. "How are you feeling?" I shut the door behind him.

"I'm okay," I say. "Just a headache." I'm technically not lying. I do have a headache.

"I read your file." He says and turns to me. The color drains from my face.

"No one is allowed to read mine," I say quietly.

"I know." He says. He looks upset and concerned.

"Then why were you able to?" I ask, clutching the towel around my body so hard my hands start to turn white.

"I have friends in high places." He says. I shake my head and walk towards the living room. Fuck. He knows.

"Who did you tell?" I ask, keeping my back to him.

"Ghost." He says. "Konig." He pauses. "Price."

"When?" I ask, on the verge of tears. They all know. Shit.

"About ten minutes ago." He says. "Right before I came here." I nod, trying to calm myself down.

"Tell me what you read," I say. My back is still to him.

"You know what I read." He says. I turn and look at him.

"I want you to tell me anyway," I say. I'm starting to get angry. "I want to hear you say it." He shakes his head.

"No." He says. "I'm not going to do that."

"Keegan," I warn and slowly walk towards him. "Fucking say it. Now." He contemplates it for a minute.

"Fine." He says. "Get changed and sit down first." I nod and go upstairs to get changed. I change into a pair of blue and white stripped pajama pants a a white cropped t-shirt. I keep my hair down.

When I'm done, I walk back downstairs and sit on the couch

When I'm done, I walk back downstairs and sit on the couch. "Now." I say. He sits down across from me. Smart. I'm angry. Really fucking angry.

"I know about Adam." He starts. I stay as quiet and still as I can, trying to keep myself from boiling over. "I know he was your fiancé. You came home from work and he was nowhere to be found. You checked the entire apartment with no sign of him. You saw his office was open and checked in there." He pauses, studying my expression. "You found the passageway and went down it. You heard what Adam and the strange man talked about." He pauses again.

"You heard them talk about a sacrifice." He continued. "You. You accidentally made a noise and ran. Adam caught up to you and knocked you out." I swallow hard. "You woke up tied to their sacrifice table. They were going to kill you. No matter how much you fought, you couldn't escape." He pauses again.

"Don't stop now." I say quietly. I need to hear him say it. He sighs.

"Hours later, after you'd already given up," He continues. "A young girl helped free you. She helped you escape and told you to run and never come back." He finishes and I nod. There's no way he knows everything. Maybe that, but not everything.

"Anything else?" I ask. He sighs and nods. "Say it."

"Star-" He starts.

"I said say it!" I tell, standing up. He flinches.

"Okay." He says. I sit back down. "I know about your parents and what they did to you. I know how your father had those poker nights and would leave you alone with his drunk friends." Shit. I swallow hard, fighting the tears and the flashback trying to resurface. "His drunk friends would touch you. You were young. A child. Some even took advantage of you. Taking your innocence from you."

"I know about Carter too." He continues. "I know how when you were in the sixth grade, he was your ninth grade boyfriend. I know how he would use you. You didn't know better. He would beat you. There was one point where he even beat you almost to death. He didn't care. His best friend Mica saved you. Threatened his own best friend for you. And then he left with Carter."

"At sixteen you were placed into the foster system. They didn't help you and you only got hurt even more. You stayed in the foster system until you were nineteen. They mentally and verbally abused you the entire time. At eighteen, a few moths before you left, your ex raped you while you were asleep. He got you pregnant. The foster system treated you like trash when you told them you were pregnant. Your baby daddy left you and screwed you over big time."

"When you left, you met your last fiancé. Your last relationship. You ended up giving the baby away to an adopted family. Your fiancé was in the military. Constantly getting deployed overseas. The last time you saw him, you guys got into a fight. Your file didn't say what it was about. He left for his deployment and never came back. He is killed in action. A few months after that, you joined the military. You were only twenty years old." He finally finishes.

I nod. Tears streaming down my face. "You're missing one thing," I say and sniffle, wiping the tears from my face. "He wasn't killed in action. He's still alive."
