I look at Konig. "Come on in," I say and let them in. They walk inside and I closed the door behind me. "Let me get changed and then we can talk." I walk upstairs and leave them in the living room. I quickly get changed into a white tank top and a pair of pink and white stripped pajama shorts. I throw my hair up into a quick ponytail and walk back downstairs.

"So, what did you want to tell me?" I ask and look at them.

Konig doesn't say anything, he just stares at me. Weird. "Speak." Ghost says and glares at him. Konig sighs and sits down.

"Sorry," Konig says quietly. I barely hear him.

"What?" I ask and step closer. He doesn't look at me.

"You heard me." He says, still being quiet.

"No, I didn't," I say. "So say it again." He doesn't say anything. "Konig?" I step towards him.

"Speak up ass hole." Ghost says.

"Wirst du einfach die Klappe halten?!" Konig says angrily in what I can only assume as German. He stands up and gets into Ghost's face. "Du bist ein verdammtes Arschloch!" (Translation: Will you just shut up?! | You're a fucking asshole!)

"English dumbass." Ghost says, not backing down.

"If you two are going to fight, take it outside," I say and cross my arms over my chest. Ghost looks at me.

"I should leave." He says and leaves quickly, leaving Konig and I in the living room. Konig looks me up and down with what I can only assume is disgust in his eyes. Asshole.

"Get out," I say. He grumbles something in German before leaving. Once everyone is gone, I sigh and lock my door. I quickly walk up to my room and go to sleep.

The next morning, I go to work bright and early. I make sure to get there 30 minutes early. The meeting room is empty when I walk in so I take this time to gather some intel for the next mission. About forty-five minutes later, other people start filing into the room, including my team. I watch them as they file in, but I notice Konig is nowhere to be found. Captain Price takes lead and gives everyone their tasks. I've been assigned to gather intel and come up with an entry plan. After the meeting is over, Captain Price dismisses everyone but Keegan and I. "I need you to train her." Captain Price says to Keegan.

"Train her how?" Keegan asks.

"I believe he means fighting," I say and cross my arms over my chest.

"Yes." Captain Price says. "I want you to teach her how to fight."

"With all due respect Captain," I say. "I already know how to fight."

"Well then," He says. "Training is at noon in the south gym. Meet us there and we will see." I nod and he dismisses us. I spend the next few hours gathering intel before going out to get an early lunch.

After lunch, I go to the south gym where training is. When I arrive, no one is there so I stay in my truck until I see Ghost, Keegan, and Captain Price pull up. I quickly get out of my truck and walk up to the front door of the gym. Ghost opens the door and lets me go in first. "Thank you," I say and walk inside. He nods and follows behind me. Everyone else joins shortly.

"I'm going to pair you with Ghost." Captain Price says to me. I turn and look at him, nodding. "The first person to give in or blackout loses. Don't go easy on her Ghost. I want to see what she's capable of." I watch as Ghost nods but I see worry behind his eyes. I smile at him.

"I'll be fine," I say to him. "Let's do this." Ghost and I take our positions in the middle of the gym and wait for the countdown. Only then do I realize I've never seen him fight. I don't know anything about this man when it comes to war. I clear my head and focus on him. I hear the 'go' and I closely watch Ghost.

He makes the first move. He attempts to punch me in the face but I dodge it and move to his left. He grunts and tries again with his other fist. I easily dodge that as well. I study his footwork, his stance, and everything else he does as he continues to attempt to punch me. Thankfully, I'm small, meaning I can move a lot faster than him. Especially since he's twice or maybe even three times my size. After a few minutes, I see my opening. He doesn't have a good stance so I can easily swipe him off his feet. I smile, make a swift motion, and swipe him off his feet. He lands face-first into the gym floor. I quickly back away so he doesn't catch me off guard.

Once he gets back up, I realize I broke his nose. Ooops. Oh well. He'll be fine. He attempts to tackle me but I move away and kick him in the back. He falls again. At this point, I can tell he's getting angry. Good. I want him angry. He slowly gets back up and I see a bloodlust in his eyes. Fuck. I'm screwed.

He lunged at me and catches me off guard. He pins me to the gym floor and is about to punch me before someone says something. I see the bloodlust in his eyes fade and he blinks, slowly lowering his fist. "Shit." He mumbles and gets up, backing away from me. I get up and watch as he leaves the gym. I turn to Captain Price.

"So we both lost?" I ask and frown. "Cause neither of us gave in or blacked out."

"That's what you care about?" Captain Price asks. "Not the fact that if Soap didn't say anything you'd be dead right now?"

"He wouldn't have killed me," I say and cross my arms over my chest. "He probably would have hurt me badly but wouldn't have killed me. And yes, I saw the bloodlust in his eyes." Captain Price shakes his head.

"Go again." He says. "This time with Soap." Soap steps into the middle of the gym.
