With a dumpling in her mouth, a certain black haired is feeling annoyed and empty for plentiful reasons. First, she waited in Tokyo Midtown for three long hours...for nothing. And it is all because her date, Mio Namiya, didn't show up. And second, well...

It was 11:30 earlier when she received another phone call, but it was from the Chinese Restaurant where she works part-time at, telling her to come this instant. Though bugged with frustration and self-pity because of getting stood up, she decided to ride a taxi to meet her boss who then...

"Do you what I'm looking at, Sarina Samidori? Do you see this?" The female boss asks and throws a document on top of the table where she's seated. And there, she sees a letter. Without the need to read it, she knew it was from the incident last week. Yes, with that pervert.

"That's a complaint letter from one of our VIPs. And it is all because of you!" She screams which kind of made the dumped employee jump from her seat. Yes, she made a mistake because she gave the order away. But there's nothing wrong with asking for a reconsideration, right?

"I'm sorry, Ma'am. But the food was paid. I deposited it in th—"

"That's not the point! I don't care if you ate it being the poor little girl that you are. My point is that the food wasn't properly delivered to our client! Do you get me, stupid?!" The boss yells to her ears again, making her embarrassed because all employees in the office are all looking at the two of them.

"As I thought, I shouldn't have hired a stupid girl like you." The boss lady adds and took her seat across the black-haired who could only fix her eyeglasses while looking down.

"I-If I can make up for my mistake, Ma'am, I would like to—"

"There's no need. You're fired." And that's the only time she met the owner's eyes.

"What?"

"Weren't you listening, stupid deaf?! I said get out of my sight right now!" She panicked on the inside. Is she seriously going to lose her extra racket? Because of a wrong decision?

"P-Please reconsider, Ma'am. I need this jo—"

"I don't care. Get out."

And that's how she said goodbye to her other job. Not like it's the end of the world, she still feels even more restless.

"Life sucks even worse when you least need it to be." She sighed loudly and continued eating her second dumpling. She is now in the beautiful streets of Nishi Azabu, filling her empty stomach with the only thing she can afford here in the uptown world.

And to make things worse...

"Hey, hey, onee-san..." She turns her head to the direction of a young boy with his palm directed to her.

"Can I please have your last dumpling? I haven't eaten in three days." As she heard that, she felt immense pity towards the child.

Yes. She may have lost her love that hasn't even blossomed yet. She may have lost her job that is supposed to help with their bills. But she hasn't lost her compassion for others. Thinking of it this way, she realized that she isn't as miserable as this kid who looks like someone from the bottom of the food chain.

"Here you go, kid." She says and hands her last meal of the noontime to the poor boy, who then didn't hesitate to have his own fill.

"You must be really hungry." Reaching for her wallet, she said. But it was a decision she didn't expect she would regret.
