a new friend

Garou woke up at 3 am in the hospital bed. He looked at his injuries and saw that they healed. He got of the bed and wore his clothes, his white trousers (pants) and his long sleaves black shirt. He manged to snuck out the hospital once it hit the morning (5am) and went on to look around the city of Musutafu.
Garou strolled through Mustafu City on a bright morning. He bought an apple from a street vendor and enjoyed the sweet taste as he moved along. Kids with unique quirks played in a nearby park, reminding him of his own training days. Leaning against a bridge, he looked at the serene river view, and the sight of a loving couple made him reflect on his own life. Tossing the apple core, he continued his walk, discovering that Mustafu City had a diverse charm.

He saw a couple seating on a bench leaning against each other's shoulders and enjoying the view of the park. Garou was behind them watching them the feeling of love, well... he was Gloomy and depressed. He had no one in his life and even if he did, they were gone because of his cosmic radiation back in his world.

As Garou settled into his new life in this unfamiliar world, he began the process of becoming a teacher. He had a long way to go, but his mindset and combat skills made him stand out among the heroes at U.A. High School. Someone tapped on Garou's shoulder. It was Midoriya.

Midoriya- "hey sorry about yesterday" he said while chuckling nervously and scratching the back of his head. "I'm Izuku Midoriya btw" leaned his hand forward and looked up at Garou smiling.

Garou- "its fine kid, don't beat yourself about it. I'm Garou nice to meet you Midoriya". Garou said as he shook his hand, but he just gave a small smile. (Typical Garou)

Midoriya- "I was patrolling and saw you walking by yourself so I thought I should hello since yesterday wasn't a great start" he said smiling at Garou.

Garou- "yeah... thanks for that kid. So, you're a hero huh?" he questioned.

Midoryia- "well yeah... I joined UA 4 months ago and got my hero license not long ago" he said with a face of hopefulness. "I heard you were going to come to UA and work there and be a teacher, is that right" he questions with curiosity

Garou- "I mean if they let me" he answered. So you are close to the ex-number 1 hero All might huh?" he asked.

Midoriya began explaining to him his past of how he didn't have a quirk and how he met all might alongside how he joined UA and met new people. He also told him about the League of villains and all for one. Midoriya had no idea about Garou's past, personality or even his Age 💀.

Midoriya- "Mr Garou I know I shouldn't be asking this but what about you? What happened when decided to be a hero?"

Garou knew he couldn't tell anyone about him from another dimension except for hawks and endeavour. So, he lied. He told him he was from a countryside village, and he was mastered at martial arts. And as for his quirk, he said he could copy hi enemy's technique and use it against them. And he said he wanted to be a hero ever since he was a child even Tho he wanted to be a monster. Garou told Midoriya that and Midoriya did buy it eventually but still had no idea how old he was.

Garou's fabricated story seemed to resonate with Midoriya, who nodded empathetically as he listened to Garou's supposed background. The young hero-in-training was eager to forge a connection with the mysterious newcomer.

Midoriya- "That's really amazing, Mr. Garou! Having the ability to copy techniques is such a versatile quirk. I'm sure you'll do great at UA if you get the chance."

Garou appreciated Midoriya's enthusiasm, even though he knew it was based on a lie. He also found himself strangely drawn to the earnestness of the young hero, something he hadn't encountered often in his own world.

Garou- "Thanks, kid. I appreciate the encouragement. And yeah, I hope I can make it into that UA school."

As they continued their conversation, Garou couldn't help but feel a sense of friendship with Midoriya. The kid had faced his own share of challenges and had a strong sense of determination, qualities that Garou respected.

Midoriya- "If you ever need help with anything, Mr. Garou, don't hesitate to ask. The hero community here is really supportive, and we look out for each other."

Garou nodded

Garou- "Thanks, Midoriya. I'll keep that in mind. Who knows, maybe I'll even learn a thing or two from you young heroes."

Midoriya, in turn, eagerly absorbed every word of Garou's tale, seemingly unaware of the inconsistencies in his story. He was genuinely interested in getting to know Garou better and was excited to have a potential mentor at UA.

As the two walked, they passed by various landmarks of the city, including the bustling commercial district, where quirks of all kinds were on display, and the UA High School campus, where Garou hoped to begin a new chapter in his life.

Midoriya- "Mr. Garou, I really appreciate you sharing your story with me. It's inspiring to meet someone like you who's so passionate about becoming a hero. I can't wait to see you in action at UA!"

Garou offered a small, genuine smile, appreciating Midoriya's sincerity.

Garou- "Thanks, kid. looking forward to it too."

Their conversation continued, and as the day went on, Garou began to feel a glimmer of hope that perhaps this new world, with its quirks and heroes, could offer him a chance at redemption and a fresh start. Little did he know everything was going to turn around on him.
