Boys are So Immature

Dear D

Greg is okay if all you care about is looks, but he's not really my type. He's too immature. Today he came over to my seat, but his friends were laughing at him in the back of the bus and he went all shy. I waited for him to say something, but he mumbled that he should go. He came and went for no reason! Yes, his friends were putting him off, but if he really wanted to talk to me, why didn't he ignore his friends? And who wants to be with someone who has friends like that? When he went back to sit with them, I could hear them talking about me and laughing. So what was he trying to do? Does he like me or not? It's all so pointless. I can't stand it and can't wait to leave school. The only good thing about it is seeing you. Sometimes I feel trapped in a seventeen-year-old body, when really I feel about thirty. I feel like I have more in common with you than those boys on the bus, that's for sure.
