"I'm a model, Raj." Taylor explained biting into her food. "and I noticed that you were pretty close to the players last night." She continued.

"Are you about to ask me for a favor?" I rolled my eyes.

"Look, Raj. I'm not going to beat around the bush with you, I need your help." She said, placing her elbows on the table.

"I figured." I said, getting ready to leave.

"I just want a date." She explained. I gave her a look of confusion.

"A date?"

She nodded, "Yes, with Odell."

"I thought you knew him?" I reminded her.

"Socially, but not exclusively as you do."

"I don't know how I cou—"

"Oh, I get it, you have something going on with him." She cut me off.

"What? No. I just try to stay out of people's love lives."

"Oh, come on. Just ask him, Raj. I really like him, but I can never get alone with him, there's always a million women around. Please, Raj."

"I'll see what I can do, I guess." I shrugged, I didn't know how normal this was but I didn't want it to become my norm.

I went back to the store and bought some things I was eyeing earlier. I was so ready to go home because if this is how it was going to be living with a football player, I might need to stay in the house.

When Odell came home he had a mass of shopping bags. He bought and entire new wardrobe.

Obviously, he's not getting the 'you don't have to keep buying me things' speech so I just said thank you and went to try some of the clothes on. They were all so beautiful and expensive.

I'm not use to this. I went from an empty apartment, riding the subway to a top of the line condo, driving a Bentley in a matter of days. All thanks to Odell.

I trying to find a way to approach him about Taylor Gold and her friend, Valerie. I didn't even know if Odell went on dates.

He was in his room with door closed and after a series of raising my hand to knock and putting it down I finally gained the courage to knock.

"Wassup? You like the clothes?" He said after he opened his door, giving his most beautiful smile.

Every time I him I get butterflies which
makes living with him hard. He didn't even realize the effect he was having on me and I know the feeling wasn't mutual.

"Yea, they're a nice. Thanks. I need to talk to you about something else, tho."
I said giving him a weak smile. It was honestly hurting me to do this but there was no need to be selfish.

"Yea sure. What's up, Raj?" He asked opening his door wider so I could come in. There he goes with that towel again.

"Today, when I was out I ran into this girl. She recognized me from the club. She said she's met you and Rueben before. Her name is Taylor Gold." I said looking to see if he recognized the name.

"Sounds familiar." He said simply.

"Right, and s-she was, um, telling me that, uh, her a-and her fri- Odell can you put some clothes on?"

He smirked and walked to his drawer. After pulling out some boxers I was not prepared for what he was about to do next.

With no warning, No signal, he just dropped his towel and slid his boxers on. Then he hopped on his bed, that I was sitting on the edge of and looked at me innocently.

"You were saying?" He smiled. Oh I wish he would stop smiling.

"I was saying that the girl, Taylor Gold and her friend, Valerie would like to double date with you and Rueben." I just came out it.

He looked a little confused. We sat in silence for a said before he decided to speak.

"You're trying to hook me and Rueben up?" He said looking for clarity.

"Well, the girl seems really nice and I think it would be good for you to go on a date instead of bringing Ashleys home all the time." I said simply

"Well if you want me to go, I'll go. You're sure?" He said giving me a weird look.

"Yea.." My voice almost cracked. This hurt my soul but I want Odell to be happy.

"Well I'll ask Rueben tomorrow. You have Taylor's number?" He asked sitting up on the bed. I gave him her number and walked out of the room.

From one friend to another.
