They'd spent most of the day lazing around in bed until her stomach has grumbled, disturbing them from their embrace. Astarion groaned in her neck but let her go, wanting her to eat.

She reluctantly got out of bed and pulled her clothes on, and when she was sorting out her hair she felt arms wrap around her waist, lips on her neck, and she melted.

"I could eat you right up." He murmured, nibbling at her ear gently, and Aelia swatted his mouth away, but he caught her hand, pressing a kiss to her neck.

"Unluckily for you, I have to go eat otherwise I might collapse from starvation." She muttered, leaning back against him.

He hummed against her neck, "That would be most unfortunate." He then slowly let her go, and followed her to their door. She opened it and stepped out, he tried to follow but hissed at the sunlight in the corridor.

He stepped back into the doorway, away from the light. "Gods, I can't wait to walk in the sun again."

"I'll be back soon, my love." She spoke, stepping back into the door and kissing his cheek, and he couldn't help but smile.

"I like the sound of that." He smirked, and watched as she walked down the hall and to Shadowheart's room, Astarion winked before he closed the door, and Aelia rolled her eyes as she knocked on her friend's door.

Shadowheart mumbled from within, sharpening a dagger. Aelia opened the door, "Want to come down for some food with me?"

Shadowheart nodded and put back her dagger, "Have you and Astarion talked?" She asked, and Aelia couldn't help the flush on her cheeks, and the cleric gasped in delight.

"You didn't!" She exclaimed and Aelia nodded shyly, "I'm so happy for you both." She said, hanging an arm around her shoulders as they walked down the stairs.

However excited she was, Shadowheart didn't pry into the details of it, knowing that they'd both rather keep it private and their's only. Aelia was grateful that she understood that.

They leaned against the bar as they ordered food, "I heard you and Gale speaking last night, what about?" The cleric glanced at Aelia, who sighed and rubbed her eyes.

"He confessed his feelings for me, I don't understand it." She sighed, "I don't think I've even done anything to make him think that."

"Sometimes being in such close proximity can make people believe things in their mind, don't think too much about it. You're happy with Astarion." Shadowheart replied, nodding thanks when two plates were put in front of them.

"Won't it make things awkward, though?" Aelia asked her, waiting for a moment before eating the food.

"He'll get over it." She answered, picking up her fork and eating. "He's not stupid enough to get inbetween the two of you, I've never seen Astarion act with someone the way he does with you."

Aelia hid her blush behind her hair, moving the food around her plate.

"I'm serious! I dread to think what'll happen if you got injured somewhere, now that you're officially together." She pondered, and Aelia didn't like to think of it.

"Well don't jinx it." She joked, and they talked some more until they'd both finished, making their way back upstairs. Aelia said she'd see Shadowheart soon, and walked to her door, opening it slowly.

"There you are." Astarion's voice travelled across the room, and she didn't ignore the tremble down her spine at his sensual tone. He was sat in a chair with a book in his hands.

"Miss me?" She asked, making her voice airy, and he chuckled.

"Very much, my darling." He pouted, a devilish smile spreading across his face instantly after. He closed the book he was reading as Aelia walked towards him. She then placed herself in his lap, arms wrapping around his neck.

Astarion instantly pulled her closer, his lips grazing across her throat, hands roving her back. She leaned into the touch, her eyes closed.

"I'm not sure when we'll get any privacy in the next days of our travelling, I think Gale would end up exploding if he had to see us together." A smirk spread on his face, a small part of him couldn't help liking it. It would show that Gale had no chance with her.

"So what are you suggesting?" She asked coyly, shifting in his lap slightly, and he narrowed his eyes playfully at her.

"I have a few ideas." He muttered, and kissed her, she leaned into him.

Their lips fit perfectly together, and he pulled her closer to him. He then stood up from the chair, carrying her in his arms towards the bed, their lips still touching. He gently lay her on her bed, and then crawled over her body to kiss her again.

His hand dragged to her jaw, tilting her head to deepen the kiss.

She moaned quietly against his mouth, and he kissed her harder. She gasped as they pulled away, and she panted heavily.

"Gods, I love this." He murmured into her neck, and Aelia closed her eyes, feeling his lips attack her neck with nibbles and kisses.

She gasped out, louder than before, but then she froze as she heard a voice from the other side of the wall, Gale's to be precise.

"I can hear you." He drawled from the other side of the wall, and Aelia's eyes widened in horror. Astarion couldn't help but grin, his shoulders shaking from laughing.

"This isn't funny, Astarion." She hissed, sitting up, her face flushed.

"It's hilarious, darling. My apologies, Gale, we'll try to be more quiet." He called out, and Gale's voice muffled.

Astarion snickered at Aelia's face, which was still blushing.

"Oh gods, I won't be able to face him now." Aelia whined, rubbing her face in her hands, and Astarion kissed her shoulder.

"Of course you can, it's only Gale." He replied, and Aelia groaned into his shoulder, embarrassment still flustering her.

Astarion grinned down at her, "You look so pretty when you blush."

Aelia impossibly flushed even more and hid her face in the pillow, wanting to forget the last two minutes of her life. The room was filled with Astarion's laughter, and she tried not to grin with him.
