"Either you tell me right now what's going on and who you're involved with or else I'm never speaking to you again."

"Camila, I can't, okay? And maybe it's just better for us to not speak. A lot safer."

"I can't with you." I laugh a little, backing away from him, rubbing my face. "I should've trusted my gut."

"Listen, I know this is really shitty right now but it's for your own good okay? I care about you so I don't want to hurt you but its for the be-"

"Don't you dare tell me you care about me." I say, taking a step back as he stands up and towers over me. "Or tell me what's good or safe for me."

"You're not getting it-"

"I know you've told me before that some powerful wizards did this to you the last time, and I'm assuming they've done it again... If that's the reason you're choosing not to speak to me, to keep me safe, then what the fuck?"

"What do you mean what the fuck?" He asks, his voice raising slightly.

"I know what I got into when I first admitted to myself I like you Mattheo Riddle! I really like you, and I knew from the beginning this wouldn't be the safest choice, I'm not naive. But there's no way you're ending it like this-"

"I don't do relationships Camila, for this very exact reason." He says calmly this time, his face with no expression on it as I just take in what he had just said.

"Get out."

"I- please don't tell the boys we argued... It's just going to ruin their day out... make it awkward for them." He turns around to ask me as he's about to leave and I scoff.

"What, so I'm just going to have to pretend to like you?"

"You've done it before."

My mouth opens slightly in shock, and I watch him leave my room, the door shutting with a thud. I drop to the floor and sit there, my eyes filling with tears.

Fuck you Mattheo Riddle.

Mattheo's POV

I enter the boys room, attempting to hide the anger inside me right now after arguing and ending it with Camila. I really didn't want to end it with her, but with the circumstances we're both in, it's too risky to even be speaking to her. I promised myself today would be the last day I associate myself with her and then after that... we'll be strangers again, it's to keep her safe.

I'm sure her mum would be absolutely fuming and ready to kill me when she finds out what an even worse situation her daughter is actually in. I'm not the best person to be in a relationship with, and I really don't want to break her heart... but at the moment this is the way things are.

I didn't plan for it to go this way. Last night I was so sure I could make it work... but being faced with danger once again only made me realise I never want to risk the same happening to her.

"You alright boys?"

"The question is, are you alright lad?" Theo asks me and I nod with a fake laugh.

"Yeah, my girl got me all fixed up."

"You back on it?"

"It's complicated but we're good with each other at the moment."

I'm a brilliant liar. Camila and I are anything but good with each other right now.

"Oh thank god, we were scared we'd have to deal with the awkwardness for the rest of the trip." Enzo sighs in relief.

I hope she goes along with the plan.

"Yeah nah, its all good."

"Well get ready Riddle. It's gonna be a good day." Blaise says with a smile, patting me on the back.

I'm the first to step out the room, opening the door to find Camila right opposite me, opening her door. Our eyes meet and I scan her whole body, taking in what she's wearing. Damn, he looks fine. I know she's worn this to slap me in the face, and to be totally honest, it's really working. She gives me a dirty look as she scans my grey joggers and black compression shirt, before instantly smiling when she sees Enzo, Blaise and Theo following on from right behind me.

"Time for breakfast boys." She says, and leads the way to the lift. I guess she's going along with the whole pretending plan.

We all cram into the lift with a few other guests, and I get shoved into the corner, and somehow Camila ends up squished right in front of me, her back against me. I don't know what to do with my hands as I begin to grow flustered at her pretty tiny body against mine once again, getting flashbacks from last night.

We didn't go all the way, and I'm now mad that we didn't, because I know for sure now I'll never have a chance with her again. But in a way, it's worked out for the better. If we had sex, it just would've made things a lot harder for her to deal with, and make her believe even more that I was apparently 'using her'. That would never be the case with Camila. I wouldn't do that to her.

My hands rest by my sides, and I just take a deep breath, the boys give me glances and Enzo wiggles his eyebrows, as Theo tries to hold in his laughter. I roll my eyes and flip them off with my finger, only to be caught by an old lady who gives me a dirty look. I quickly put my hand down and mouth, "sorry" to her, as if it'd make a difference.

Suddenly, I notice Camila shift her weight to her other leg, manoeuvring her stance as she moves her ass against me. I try my best to control myself, and resist the urge from grabbing her waist and pulling her closer to me, but luckily the doors open in time and everyone leaves and heads into the restaurant.

We grab our plates and line up in the queue to pick out the food we want for breakfast, the selection ranging from eggs to fruit to croissants. I watch as Camila in front of me takes some strawberries and Nutella, a smile forming on my face as I instantly get flashbacks to our first date, when she force fed me strawberries with chocolate, knowing I hated the fruit.

Even though that date was supposed to be a facade, part of me knew it wasn't... and it was probably one of the best days I've ever had.

We all sit down together at a table, Camila sitting on one side of me, with Blaise on the other, Nott and Berkshire opposite us. As we're eating, Camila suddenly speaks up.

"That lady at the counter is so dodge." She says.

Fuck.

"She keeps looking over at us, and before when I got the first aid box off her she was acting so sly."

"I noticed that too..." Blaise agrees. "She's a bit odd."

"I just noticed that she's hot." Enzo shrugs, before taking a sip of his energy drink.

"Berkshire you shouldn't be drinking that shit right now, its 9am." I say, trying to change the conversation.

"Sorry father." He says with so much sass, taking another sip.

"We all know you resisted the urge to say daddy." Theo adds, making Blaise and Camila laugh.

"No never, I'm a good friend, wouldn't do that to Camila." He says, so oblivious as he continues to eat his food. I've never met a more oblivious person than Enzo. "Right Camila?"

"Right." She says with a nod, before continuing to eat her food miserably.

She's not putting on a good act right now, as the boys begin to think something's wrong. I know it's hard, but she needs to get her act together before the boys clock.
