(Dusk's POV)
I sigh in frustration as I followed my younger siblings and Liam around the mall, my brother and the rest had run off from the group and dragged me along as well, Why exactly might you ask? It's because they wanted to get to the mall's warehouse and steal a bunch of M&Ms since they already raided the whole stock on the shelves.

So here we are now, sneaking about through the employees only area to break into the warehouse "You do know that once Mom can't find us she's going to tear this mall apart looking for us right?" I pointed out with a deadpan expression, Liam, who's currently sporting the appearance of an adult worker in this mall using his illusion magic, shrugs carelessly "So what? We'll be fine! We're just gonna go in, take a box or 2 and then dip it. Simple as that!" He says with a grin.

"B-But what if we get caught?..." Karin asked worriedly, Liam scoffs "Hah! As if any of the humans here could see through my illusion!" He responded confidently "Now, stay quite and keep up with me. I'm sure the warehouse won't be completely empty." He reminds us, we all gave him an affirmative answer.

Once he opened the warehouse's doors, he immediately put on his act, exchanging pleasantries with some employees, having short conversations with others and overall just acted like he was a regular worker here, the other employees didn't even suspect him nor could they see us, who was following behind him throughout the whole thing.

I must admit, despite this little uncle of ours being idiotic at times, his illusion magic is very strong and helpful in situations like these, not to mention a great actor which was a surprise to us since we never knew he could act.

After a few minutes we arrived where the M&Ms were packed and boxed and we each took a box, Liam looked around for a bit before seeing the back door of the warehouse, he then glanced at us "Oi! I found the back door, we're going to climb up these shelves and jump shelf to shelf all the way to the exit." He explains his plan, Dawn looked at him questionably "And why can't we just walk our way there?" Dawn asked the obvious, Liam shrugs "Because it'll be much faster and undetectable but mostly because it'll be more amusing." I gave him a deadpan expression "You're an absolute idiot."

Dawn snickers and agreed with me and Liam just rolled his eyes "Whatever. Just get to climbing we'll all meet outside the warehouse." After saying that he started to climb with the box of M&Ms in hand, the others shrugs before climbing as well, I just shake my head in disappointment and climbed up as well.

I arrived shortly after a few minutes earlier than the others, although they're also experienced in climbing and parkour, I'm better at it than them, I exited through the backdoor and out to a dark alleyway.

'Ugh...so god damn dark out here..why didn't they install a light out here?' I thought to myself but in all honesty, I could still see in the dark, I'm just kinda pissed that these dumb people don't install a light back here.

I set my box of M&Ms down and sat on it, waiting patiently for the others 'Hmm....I wonder how mom and the others are doing? Pretty sure mom already noticed us gone. I could feel her immense worry from here, I also feel anger from her which probably means she's pissed at someone currently. Probably one of the workers here..how pitiful- they're probably scared shitless right now by mom's rage-' my train of thoughts were caught off when I heard quite footsteps.

On the side of my face by a bat...

I hissed in pain as I felt immense pain on my left eye socket...I could feel the blood dripping from the wound on my eye "Tsk! That's what you damn deserve monster! Tainting this land with your kind! You and your other little monster kind should've stayed at that mountain where you disgusting creatures belong!" The man spat with disdain, holding a bat with my blood stained on it, I groan in pain and frustration.
