Two Worlds Collides

Chapter 10

As soon as Jinzhu and Yinzha came rushing through the gates with a still unconscious Madame Yu, the guards looked at them with big, shocked eyes. The disciples stopped practicing, and Jiang Wayin rushed towards them.

"What happened to my mother?".

He asked as soon as he reached them.

"Sorry, young master but we have to rush to the healers. Your mother was badly hurt".

They said as they made their way quickly towards the healers pavilion.  Jiang Cheng runs behind them as he calls a disciple to informs his father and sister about his mother. The two ran into the healers ward and laid the Madame on one of the beds nearest to them. Shocked gasps could be heard and they had to restrain a angry Jiang Cheng who wanted to know. Who did this to his mother. The healers pushed all three of them outside. Starting to work on the unconscious woman.

They were busy cleaning the wound when Jiang Fengmian stepped inside. What he saw shocked him. What happened to his wife? He turns and looked at Jinzhu, and Yinzha with confused and shocked look.

He stepped outside the room and close the door behind him.

"What happened to my lady? Who did this to her?".

He asked them. The two who were still in their bloody robes bowed and answered.

"Our lady was attack by a wolf, on the border between Yiling and Lotus Pier Sect Leader Jiang".

"Attack by a wolf? But how? Where did this wolf come from. Was it a ayoa and did you kill it".

Fengmian asked as he looked at his wife's two bodyguards.

"No it wasn't a ayoa sect Leader. It was a wolf. There were a pack of them. They could shape-shift. We believe it was the time travelers sect leader".

They answered.

"The time travelers. But why would they attack my lady. Tell me everything that had happened now".

Fengmian said with a stern voice. He knows what this could possibly means.

"Father did you not hear. Mother was attacked by them. Who do they think they are? Attacking people at will. They will pay for this".

Jiang Cheng said with anger in his voice. Yanli laid a hand on her brothers arm trying to calm him down.

"A-Cheng please let's hear first what had happened".

She said softly but clearly shaken. Her brother is vibrating with anger next to her.

"Explain please. From the beginning".

He told the two and they told him exactly what had happened when they encountered the time travelers. When they was done he excused them and looked at his two children before he spoke.

"A-Cheng you will not be irresponsible and go to face them. We will wait for your mother to wake up and make a decision then. Do you understand me?".

He said in a stern voice as he looked the angry look on his sons face and the teary eyes of his daughter. They both nodded their heads and he turns on his heels and slides the door to the room open and stepped inside once again. He came to stopped just short of the bed his lady are lying on watching the healers work before he spoke.

"How is she? Will she be fine?".

He asked with concern in his voice.
One of the healers stepped away from the bed and bowed before she spoke.

"The sect Madame lost alot of blood. He golden core is strong and she started to heal. We would've liked it if they had brought the arm with them. We have clean the wound and put healing and anti septic herbs on it and closed it with bandages. She will probably woke up in the next three days. She has a fever but it is mostly from the shock. Her body needs time to heal".
