The sun had decided to show up his face and spread his warmth over the other half of the earth which was drown into darkness.
The birds chirped trying to get ready to fly and find their food. It is said "An early bird gets the worm."  They were in a hurry to be quick and get the finest food. Though, Mumbai is a populated city and is filled with buildings and pollution, Siddharth's neighbour had a lot of plants. The lane was comparatively cool and had greenery. Vibha has herself planted a lot of trees beside her home and where ever she could manage, which adds beauty to the house. If frankly spoken, the house was looked like an ugly monster which was decorated with green ornaments.

Avneet has always been rising up early in the morning. She was expected to do most of the house chores in her uncle's home, so she would wake up by 5.30 am in order to cope up everything.

She opened her eyes with a little yawn while getting greeted by the loud melodious chirping of birds. The sun wasn't totally shining, but spreading its light little by little.

She felt a pair of hands being wrapped around her waist. She looked up and realized, it was Siddharth who was hugging her tightly in his sleep.
A tint of blush crept on her face.

She has always wondered if the husbands are dominating and are into torturing their wives, why does people get married? When she grew up into a teenager, she thought marriage was only to reproduce.
But today, while laying in someone's arm, she realized how warm and secure it feels. Maybe people marry each other to get this little moments? Maybe... that is the reason why the wives doesn't mind the torture of their husbands?

She smiled seeing his face. Siddharth's hair were messy and fell into his forehead. He looked so cute while sleeping.
Oh, she needed to get up.
She tried getting out of his embrace but he mumbled something. As there was silence, she could hear him.

"Please don't go... I cannot leave you."
His words weren't clear but she could still understand them. The urge to kiss his forehead engulfed her. She leaned closing her eyes, but when she felt the little pokes of his hair she immediately backed off.

She mentally scolded herself. What was she even doing! She tried escaping, but his grip was tight and his brows were frowned.

She forwarded her hands towards him and found them shaking. What is so nervous about it? She hesitated, but softly placed her hands on his hair and ruffled it. He seemed to relax and loose his grip.

She took this chance to escape.
As she stood up leaving the bed, she noticed the uneven beatings of her heart. His soft hair were her weakness.

She brushed her teeth and washed her face making as less noise as possible, not wanting to wake him up. After finishing her morning chores, she took a bath and came out wearing the churidar Vaishnavi had bought her.
"Vaishnavi di must be sleeping, she is a late riser," she chuckled to herself.

She came out of the washroom. The light in the room had brightened. She combed her hair and checked Siddharth.
He was still sleeping. He looked really cute. And that made her heart flatter.

She opened the door and closed it back making least sound. She walked towards the kitchen. Vibha was already there.

"M-mom..." she called her out.
Vibha turned around and was surprised to see her in the early morning with wet hair indicating she has taken a bath.

"Oh dear, you have woken up? Did you sleep well?" she asked.
"Yes mom. I slept well." she smiled.

"Mom, I want to help you," she pouted a little.
"Ugh, why did you make that face! I can't deny now. Okay lets work together from today," Vibha sounded like the leader of a team.

"I can do every work mom, y-you should take a break," she suggested.
Vibha walked towards her and twisted her ear.

"Do you mean I have grown old huh?" she asked to which she shook her head.
When her aunt used to twist her ear, she felt pain, but now, she felt happiness in the little pain she was getting.

"Then don't you dare to make me sit like an old lady chewing paan (an edible leaf), got it?"
Avneet chuckled.

Vibha took her hands back from her ear.
"You are chuckling! Hey! I am scolding you," Vibha complained.
