Chapter 22

"Stupid stairs!" I growl angrily as I began running up them. After running in the tunnel I reached a set of stairs. Well, more like tripping. To be honest, I wasn't really paying attention. Now I sport a nice red spot on my forehead. "I hope I'm not too late. Please first master" I grind my teeth as I push my body to go faster. Running faster as i started to catch scent of Robin.

I could feel my heart beat fast as I start to see light trickling closer. My foot took another step and a click was heard "Boom!" Thrown into the wall as my head knocks against the stone wall. Blood trickles down the side of my forehead as my heart races. "A land mine! What kind of shitty weaponists puts a land mine on stairs!" I stood up with my right hand holding me up. Pain shoots through my arm as the wall breaks from the blast. I balance myself before I fall over. Peering over the hole, I grin as I see the bridge. "R-ROBBINNN!" I roared out while running up the stairs dodging all of the land mines. As I finally reach the end and stand at the bridge. I catch sight of Robin and Spandam. Take a step forward my feet crumble.

"AAaaghhh!" I clutch onto my ears tightly as the ringing became unbearable. "Stop it!" I tried to shout but the words couldn't be heard. Tears started to trickle down my checks as my vision blurred. I could see Spandam standing before me with cuffs. He started reaching down towards me as I felt paralyzed by the pain of the ringing. Something hits him as flames leave a trail in his spot. The ringing diminished as my eyes stared in awe to see Usopp standing before me. "Didn't Luffy order for you not to be alone?" He asked turning towards me with his mask. I hummed as he held a hand out for me, helping me stand back up. "I think you'd want this" he hands me the device that Spandam dropped.

I stared down at the device with hatred, in the background marines all around were in distress from Usopp's attack. With my hands I lift up the device and open my mouth to blow flames at it. Slowly watching it melt into just metal. My shoulder relaxed as I smiled. "I can finally hear myself think now" nodding to myself. "Hey could you boost me up onto that tower?" Usopp points as I nod, with a grin I pick up Usopp like a javelin and throw him as hard as I could. "N-not like that!!!" He shouts to me as he lands on top of the tower. He startled the marines down below as I grab ahold of my hammer.

Letting it drag on the floor. I light my hammer up in flames and swirl my hammer around on the ground creating a smoke screen. "Look on the tower of law!!" I could hear a marine shout as I walked closer towards Robin while the others were distracted. "Fire!" With a leap, I swing my hammer down in front of Robin creating a fire wall. Melting the bullet before they could hit Robin. I turned to look at her and gave her a wide smile. "What! The bullets are melted!" Marines in front of us panic as I twirled my hammer around dissipating the flames.

In a fighting stance I stood ready to protect Robin. "Cole?" Robin looks at me in disbelief while I stared at Spandam in the distance. "Those land mines kinda freakin hurt!" My voice rang out on the bridge as a grin filled my face. Spandam reached into his pocket and laughs manically. "You won't be able to do much after this!" He shouts as he pushes the button, I tilt my head and wait. Seeing that nothing was happening he hits the button frantically. "Why isn't it working!!" He shouts at a marine who shaking points to the pile of cooled down melted metal. "Oh that? I melted it." I shrugged like it was nothing. I take a step back with my hammer scraping the stone floor. "After a while, I realized if it was a device. Then I probably could melt it. Haven't tried melting sea stone though" Hums to myself as I kneel down to look at Robin. Tears falling down her face. "It'll be all right, I need to see what key needs to open this" her eyes widen as I gave her a gentle smile. "After all, I wanna be able to sail the seas along side with you!" I reached down gentle and saw the number 9.

Digging into my pocket as I grabbed the key and transponder snail. "Testing, Soge-King" after a second the transponder clicked. "This is him!" I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes. I held up the number 9 key. "We've got the right one" I hanged up the snail and put it back in my pocket, I slid the key and I clicked her cuffs. Standing back up as I helped her stand up and chucked the sea stone cuffs over the ledge. "The cuffs are off!" I roared out cheering as Robin rubs hers wrists gently. Robin staggers a little as I'm quick to hold her up close to me. "Hey take it easy" I said, those sea stones must have taken a toll on her. After all wearing them for a while must have been exhausting. "Wait! Does that mean you beat Zachariah!" Spandam shouts panicked as he points to me. I kept my attention to Robin. "He is from my world, if someone else were to fight him. I don't know what would have happened." My voice paused for a moment. "But to be quiet frank, it's probably the best. For both worlds" I decided to accept the fact, well for the most part. That I'll be stuck in this world, but at-least I stopped a dark guild from trying to summon.

My nose twitched a little as gold glitter starts to fall around me and Robin. I took a deep breath and noticed that it didn't hurt as much. Robin stood straighter. "How odd" she looks around as I look up with tears. "Oh First Master thank you!" A tear fell down my cheek as I lift the snail up and click it. "Sogeking, I HAVE THE CUFFS UNLOCKED!" I shouted as I shoved the snail back in my pocket. Looking to Robin as I give her a nod. She lifts her arms up. "Seis fluers" Arms sprouted around Spandam.

I leaned forward swinging my hammer up. "Fire dragon: RAGING FLAME!" I jump in the middle of marines and slam my hammer down spreading fire all around me. Some marines jumping over the ledge into the water. I duck down dodging a sword, I sweep down and knock the marine down with my leg. Bending back as bullets fired above me as I managed to avoid them. I roared wildly as I leap back up in the air and swing my arm. "Fire dragon FIRE FIST!" I swung my arm forward smacking a marine directly in the face, thrusting him back into a group of marines. As I take another step, a whistle noise stopped me. I furrowed my eyebrows as the marines around me stopped as well. "BAAANG!" Turning to the left immediately to see a large explosion.

The Buster call.

It has begun.

"Phhheeeeeeee"

"BOOM!" Another bomb struck as Marine warships start to engage closer. Marines around begin to panic, I glance over at Robin who seemed in her own world. Reaching a hand to grasp her shoulder gently, it shakes her out of her daze. Looking at me she gives me a nod. "Well. As far as I know, our only escape plan is that escort ship" I grinned at her with my eyes closed, she chuckled a little as I let go out her shoulder. I situated my hammer back onto my back as I get into a fight stance. 

"BOOM!" Another bomb is shot from a warship hitting the tower of law directly. I couldn't help but stare in awe. "I wonder what kind of bomb they used, some use all gun power. Other use a mix of compounds" I started to mutter to myself as I try to calculate and guess what they were using. "Ahh, leave it to the weapon specialist to find an enemy bomb fascinating" Robin couldn't help but let out a short laugh. Shrugging at her response, and then turned to look at the marines. "We gotta fight through them to get there, are you up for a fight?" I asked as I light my hands up in flames. Robin crosses her arms as prepares for the marines. "Shouldn't I be asking you that? Your whole right arm is bloodied with bandages. The poor doctor may die of a heart attack seeing you" I tilted my head a little and say nothings. Spandam points to us ordering his men to charge. I leap up as Robin uses her powers to immobilize one side. "Fire Dragon: Wing attack!" Whipping flames up away from my arms as pushed them back down to the group of marines down below me. Some screaming in agony from the flames, others trying to avoid being burned.

Landing back onto the ground, I lift up my leg and kick one in the gut. Making him crash into other marines, a few charged at me with their swords as I grab my hammer and used it to block. "Man, I should spar with Zoro" I say to myself as I bend down and sweep kick the surrounding marines around me. They all fell down one after another as I stood up. Freezing for a moment as white pain shoots up my back and into my whole body. I grip my shirt tightly at the pain. "Capture Nico Robin and the Anomaly! Before the warships get here!" A marine shouts as mist starts to form around the bridge. A cold feeling surrounded me as I spot Robin in a shorts distance. "S-shit. Robin" I look at her seeing her terrified face, dread reached my heart as I turn to look at what she was looking at. Shadows of ships form in the mist.

"RUN AWAY!"

"ITS THE FLEET OF WARSHIPS!"
