Chapter 1 (Edited)

A sigh left my lips as my hands gripped my old ripped up bag filled with tools. My eyes wondered as I walked down the stone path near the water. Where you might ask? Water seven. My home since I was washed ashore here. Why? I don't know. I reached my desired destination; Dock #1, that's where I help wield and create weapons for ships.
"Oi! Look it's Cole." My head jolted upwards at the mention of my name. 
When I entered the dock there was a crowd of people. My eyes searched for Ice-san and kalifa. Just as I reached the two, I noticed that there was a client with them too. . "Kalifa, What's going on over there?" Ice-san asked as he petted a mouse. I couldn't help but give him a strange look.  "Um..A client is refusing to pay for the repair. Looks like trouble, Iceberg" I crossed my arms. "It sounds troublesome indeed" Nodded in agreement, I then proceed to grab my favorite tool out of my bag. I smirked and started walking towards Paulie. "Don't worry Ice-San." I stated as I  swung around my favorite hand-made sledge hammer. Mahogany wood with a metal pole within for support connected to pure steel. And of course was fire proof too. "For the Record, we work our asses off for you all. So you shouldn't pick on the Hard working folks. Its quiet rude."  I started out as we closed in on the pirate crew.  "We won't take it silently" Paulie continued for me. And with that a shipwright slammed a large log behind the pirate on the head hard. "B...Boss!!!" I chuckled a little at the pirate crew's reaction. "Ah...My bad" I had to hold in my laugh. "Watch where you move that thing idiot!!! And don't laugh Bitch!!!" I did stop, as sent a cold glare towards him. Oh he did not just say that. The atmosphere just went from bad to death. Kaku swung a Large log saw at the Pirate captain's back. "Ah. Excuse me." The pirates held out their swords, I held out my sledge hammer swinging. "Any of you take them down, will go down also" I stated and walked past the shipwrights. "No one calls me a bitch" I stated and sung my Sledge hammer to the ground, making a powerful crack flow to quickly at the pirate crew. "You're all GOING TO DIE!!" the Pirate captain yelled. I smirked, that crack not only does that, but messes with the balance of the body. They can't move without falling. I saw some of the black smiths point out a weapon I designed towards the pirates. I began walking towards Ice-san as a huge explosion flowed behind me. "You're in the carpenters' territory" I heard Kaku say. "The Pirate's way of things don't work here" I smiled as Paulie stated that.
I sighed, stretching my arms until I heard a pop and winced at the same time too. "It sure is good to be back" said that with a smile on my face. I slung my sledge hammer back into my bag. "Wait, shouldn't you still be healing even after that incident?" I heard Ice-san ask, I couldn't help but pout. "What NO! I'm tired of sitting on my ass all day. Plus my arm is still okay" I said holding out my arm. That was until Lucci poked it. I hissed in pain. "Oi! What the hell Lucci!" I yelled out rubbing gently on my injured arm. "Don't be stubborn you brat" I heard Paulie say crossing his arms. "I'm okay" I tried to defend myself. Key word tried, but then got hit in the head. "They're right, you shouldn't be pushing yourself since your arm got broken from that failed weapon" Kalifa said pushing up her glasses, she was also the one who hit me. And why does she have to be so blunt about it too! "You guys don't to be rude about it." I stated crossing my arms. They all ignored me as they walked close to the doors of Dock #1, I followed behind slowly. I heard the crowd near the fence yell out in awe. "LOOK! Lu-Chan is co strong!! So Handsome!!" I chuckled as my eyes looked at lucci, he doesn't really like the attention. "Where's Paulie!?" I heard someone else say.. Well that's a good question, I mean he's not with us anymore. "LuLu is the Best! He's the Man among men!!" I crossed my arms again in amusement. This is funny, they are all uncomfortable. "Look! It's Cole! She's so Beautiful, and so strong!!!" I got so flustered in embarrassment, and the shipwrights looked at me in amusement... Damn it, I shouldn't have jinxed it. "God damn it." I muttered and attempted to hide behind Lulu.
After everything calmed down I rushed towards my special area to work on my failed weapon. Reaching the area, which wasn't really special. But it was a metal shack I built near the end of Dock 1. The shack inside was a mess, nothing was organized. But i'm an unorganized organizer, if that makes an sense. My desk was a disaster, but that didn't stop me. I proceeded to make room on my desk, well it was more of throwing things to the floor; the unnecessary. I then grabbed the weapon plans and slammed it on the table. I growled at it. This was my first time i failed at making a weapon, it was a sea water cannon, and also a regular cannon firing one too. As i was building it i tested out the water pump, and it had something wrong. I accidentally got my arm sucked in, and the metal tube collapsed on my arm. It...HURT....LIKE....HELL.

-Flash back two weeks ago-

Wiping sweat off my forehead in frustration. "God Damn it." My eyes glared angrily at the water pump. Stupid thing won't work, what's suppose to happen is when I flip a switch for the sea water cannon, the pump is suppose to pump in water. Well, it doesn't do anything. I threw my wrench at the pump and then proceeded to stick my arm up to take it apart. 

AGAIN. 

At that time, my dumb-ass didn't realize that the wrench I threw turned on the pump. The one time it decided to work, was the time my arm got stuck.  "What the ever living shit!?" I tried to pull my arm out as soon as I heard the pump turned on. Since I disconnect the pump from a water source, the only thing its 'pumping' is my arm and oxygen. Which is bad. I pushed and pulled on getting my arm out. Slowly the metal began to collapse. "PAULIE!" I screamed out, the metal began to get more sucked in. "LUCCI! LULU!" I punched at the metal, of course I had to use the one metal I cant punch. The metal collapsed and pushed on my arm as I heard footsteps. 

-End of flash back-

I began to erase the parts of the water pump as a shadow loomed over me. Immediately my body stilled and I looked up. There stood Paulie. "What the hell do you think you're doing? You need to be resting!" He is such a Helicopter mom. "Sorry, Mom" I said sarcastically and stood up walking away from him. "And how did you find my special place?" I said ignoring his complaints. "Hey! Don't ignore me! And Ice-Berg Told me to get you, he doesn't want you to overwork yourself" He said grabbing my ear. "Oi! Don't Manhandle the injured!" I cried out in pain as he lead me towards iceberg. As he led me to Ice-san he pushed me so I could stand next to him. "Hey! What's the Big idea!" I growled rubbing my ear speaking at Ice-san. "I simple don't want you to overwork yourself from that injury" He didn't even look at me, and noticed two people. A boy with a straw hat, and a orange or red haired girl. I gave them a second glace before turning to look at Ice-san. 
"Oi, He manhandled me, and all you care about is me over working!"
