Chapter 10: Helping Hands.

Taehyung did as he said and went over to help Jeongguk with the orders that were needed to be done plus a few extra. He would do it when Yoongi didn't need his help in the parlor and the other let him go when it wasn't packed with customers. This lasted for a couple of days a week when Taehyung wasn't tattooing.

Anytime the alpha would go over to help, he'd seen the frown on his mate's face turn into a smile when he saw him. But not this day.

Taehyung made his usual journey across the road to the omega's flower shop and there was a faint unfamiliar scent in the air just outside the shop. Taehyung could work out it was an alpha, but the scent wasn't something he'd smelt before.

Taehyung pushed his way through the door and it made the bell chime rather harshly. His jaw clenched as he saw the unfamiliar alpha, who was slightly shorter than him, trying to flirt with Jeongguk.

“Sir, please, I am not interested, we both know you have a mate back at your apartment and I could easily call them up and tell them what you're doing right now” Jeongguk tried to reason with the flirtatious alpha who stood with a smirk.

“Oh come on baby, no one has to know~” The unknown alpha tried to grab the omegas hand. “Besides, my mate will believe my word when I say you came onto me” The alpha laughed.

Taehyung had enough of what was happening and stepped forward as he let his pheromones out to scare the other alpha about his presence.

“I wouldn't do that if I were you, sir,” Jeongguk replied. “You've said all of that in front of my mate” He added while crossing his arms over his chest.

“So? W..what does this alpha have that I don-” The unknown alpha stopped as he caught a whiff of Taehyung's pheromones and staggered as he turned to look at him. The unknown alpha's eyes widened as he looked at Taehyung, who sneered his teeth.

“T-true blood..” The alpha whimpered as he theoretically stood with his tail between his legs. “I'm.. I'm so sorry, I didn't realize, I didn't mean any harm”

Taehyung stepped forward to scare the alpha and made him scarry away from the omega. Taehyung watched as the other alpha ran out the door while hearing the omega scoff.

“He was such an asshole,” Jeongguk shook his head. “..and he was a walk in too, he didn't waste his money, but I wasted my time” He said with a grumble and a sigh.

Taehyung sighed as he frowned.

“Don't frown Taehyungie, you'll get wrinkles, '' Jeongguk jokingly said as he giggled.

Taehyung looked at the other with his eyes wide and jaw dropped in a jokingly offended way. But he knew the other was joking based on the way he said it and his giggle. The giggle itself made Taehyung's heart melt within him. He went to smile lovingly at his mate when he saw the other still giggling.

Jeongguk noticed the other looking at him and stopped giggling. “What's with the smile?”

Taehyung still smiled but shrugged. He then leant over the counter and came face to face with his mate, as if to say ‘you know why’ with an eyebrow raised.

“S..stop, Taehyungie..” Jeongguk muttered. “I don't even know how you've managed to flirt without even saying a word” He said in astonishment while blush grew on his cheeks.

Taehyung stepped back with a quiet laugh under his breath before he gestured to the flowers the omega was organizing.

“Oh? Them? They're for the second order, I'm half way through it currently but I need more of the cardboard vases from the back” He rubbed the back of his neck. “And I don't really want to leave how I'm holding these flowers..”
