As the time passed by Magadh's royal family celebrated the arrival of a new members to the family. Vritika gave birth to her son, everyone welcomed the young prince's arrival with a warm heart.

Asti and Prapthi were busy in making arrangements for the naming ceremony. Every kingdom which were in friendly terms with Magadh were invited. Vriti was sitting in her chamber looking after her son.

Suddenly someone burst through the doors "Where is my nephew?" Balram yelled making baby cry even louder. "Dau look you made my nephew cry." Krishna moved towards cradle lifting baby and cuddling him. "Can't you both at least inform before entering the room" Vritika asked moving towards Krishna.

Without minding her scolding Krishna and Balram started to play with the baby. "Jiji" running  Subhadra hugged Vritika making both of them fall on the bed. "Bacche, get up" Vritika asked trying to get up from her grip.

"Bhaiya now give me my son" Subhadra took baby into her hands. As soon as baby was picked up by Subhadra he started giggling. "Looks like my son chose his favorite" Vritika teased her both brothers who were busy sulking. "By the way did you choose any name for him" Balram asked her.

"I am thinking to name him Vrishasena.  More over Radhey was so sure we were going to have a daughter so we chose all girl names" Vritika sighed thinking about Karn's enthusiasm about having girl. "It's fine we will have a girl next time" Karn said receiving a flying pillow.

"Priye please violence is prohibited in front of children" Vritika huffed listening to Karn. "Well Krishna why don't you name him." Karn asked Krishna. "Hmm, let me think" Krishna said touching his non existent beard.

"Vriti, everyone are waiting for us, let's go" Karn said taking baby boy into his hands. "Bhaiya did you get any name" Subhadra asked him. "I did I will tell directly in the ceremony" Krishna said with a smirk walking behind Vritika and Karn.

Many rishis and Brahmins were waiting to see glimpse of the new prince. As soon as Vritika and Karn took their places, Yagna started with numerous hymns. Royals of Hastinapur,  Indraprasth and Dwaraka were sitting to the right  where as all other kingdom's were present to the left. Unfortunately no one were able to attend from Lanka or Asurlok but they sent many gifts for the new born.

"Mahamahim, you know who got the honors to name his nephew" Krishna asked teasing Bheeshm. "This is unfair even we want to name him" Ashwattama winced from back. "Better luck next time, even dau didn't get this privilege that means I am her favorite brother and I am going to be the favorite uncle too" Krishna announced proudly making other brothers of Vritika grumble.

"Samrat , Samragini your son's horoscope shows that he brings joy in everyone's life and he will be known for his courage, valor and strength. He will be a great king and is going to set example to for future generations" Pandit announced. "Now please write his name in his ear thrice before announcing." Karn gestured Krishna to come forward.

Krishna took baby the baby and whispered his name three times. "May you always bring joy and happiness in lives of your parents, family and people. Henceforth you will be named as Harsha." Krishna said lifting Harsha into air.

"Rajkumar Harsha ki jai" "Karn putr Harsha ki jai"

"Putr if possible me and  Maharani Gandhari came up with a name" Radha asked with a bit of hesitation. "Mata, don't request us he is your grandson. It's your right" Vritika said. Krishna handed Harsha to Radha and Gandhari. "May you be the one who eradicates the problems of all putr. Henceforth you will be named as Rudra" Radha said caressing baby's head and handing over to Gandhari "Karn aur Vritika ka putr rudra" saying so she kissed his forehead.

The air vibrated with cheers as the dual names "Harsha" and "Rudra" resonated through the Magadh palace. Vritika and Karn, overwhelmed with joy, exchanged smiles, their hearts swelling with pride at the blessings bestowed upon their newborn. The naming ceremony, though unconventional with two names, had become a momentous occasion, etched in the history of Magadh.

With the formalities concluded, the celebration truly began. Guests mingled, laughter and lively conversations filling the air. Musicians strummed joyous melodies while dancers twirled in vibrant costumes, their graceful movements mirroring the jubilant spirit of the day. Amidst the revelry, Krishna and Balram, unable to contain their competitive spirit, instigated mock duels with wooden swords, drawing eager participation from their other brothers. Subhadra, ever the mischievous one, snuck away with Harsha, showering him with affection and whispering secret stories into his tiny ears.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the courtyard, a hush fell over the gathering. Bhanumathi, radiant in a sapphire saree, stepped forward, her voice carrying the weight of tradition. "The birth of a prince is a blessing not just for Magadh, but for the entire land," she declared, her gaze sweeping across the assembled kings and queens. "Let this occasion be a testament to the unity we share, a pledge to stand together against any darkness that may threaten our world."

Her words resonated with echoes of agreement. Pledges of friendship and unwavering support were exchanged, forging new alliances and strengthening existing bonds. The naming ceremony, intended to celebrate the arrival of a prince, had unexpectedly become a beacon of unity, a promise of peace and prosperity for the land.

Meanwhile, in a secluded corner of the palace, Vritika and Karn sat cradling Harsha and Rudra, their faces aglow with the soft moonlight. Tracing the delicate features of her son. "May he grow up to be wise and brave, protectors of his people and symbols of hope for generations to come." whispered Vritika,

Karn, his eyes filled with a father's love, nodded silently. He knew that the road ahead would be fraught with challenges, but he also held unwavering faith in the strength and resilience of his son. As he gazed at his peaceful face, he made a silent vow to guide him, to shield him from harm, and to ensure that his names, Harsha and Rudra, would forever be synonymous with prosperity and greatness.

The celebration continued through the night, the joyful din echoing through the palace walls. But beyond the laughter and song, a quiet anticipation simmered. For everyone knew that the birth of Harsha  was not just a joyous occasion, but the beginning of an epic saga, a tale waiting to be written in the annals of history.
