Jaxon and Willow never gave up on each other. They spent another decade doing content, shifting away from Minecraft and more towards being themselves. They grew older, matured, figured out who they were.

No matter how much they changed, they always remained close. They eventually moved in with each other in Brighton. Willow's art was hung on the walls of every room and Jaxon would fawn over them every time he passed them. Willow would look at the photos he'd taken as he'd found a knack for photography.

The photos were pictures of them, their friends, family. The places they traveled to. Emotions captured through the lenses of Jaxon's camera, immortalized moments that they could reminisce on in the passing years.

The DreamSMP crashed and burned, but Willow took her acting to short films and projects. She was a star in Generation Loss, along with projects she created herself. She grew away from her brother, focusing more on her brotherly relationship with Techno.

They started a podcast together, talking about their lives and struggles throughout the years. Being real with their audience and always growing closer.

No matter what, they knew they'd always have each other. Life would take them in ways they never expected, but they still hung on to their love for each other. Whether that love would be platonic or romantic, they didn't care. As long as they were in each other's lives.

"It's been a crazy couple years, hasn't it?" Willow asked, staring at a picture on the wall

"Crazier than I ever expected it to be, that's for sure" Jaxon responded with a sigh

"Well, we were kids. I think we both knew it wouldn't last forever" They turned to him

"Yeah, but I'm kinda glad it didn't. As much as I reminisce on how things used to be, I don't think I'd ever want to go back to it" They looked down back at them

"Y'know what? Me either. I think we aged well. All good things come to an end eventually" She laughs

"You dumbass, I can't believe you just made a Tubbo reference in this day and age" They shake their head

"Hey! Can you blame me? We're being dramatic, had to lighten the mood a bit" She nudges his shoulder

Their dog jumps onto the couch with them, settling in Jaxon's lap as he puts his head "See? Even Big Mac didn't like it"

"Oh hush, Big Mac loves me actually" They reach a hand over to pet the dog's back

"Keep telling yourself that" He smiles

"Guys! You ready to film the last episode? It's all set up" Aimsey says as she walks into the room

Willow sighs and looks over at Jaxon "You ready for this?"

Jaxon gives a sad smile but nods "I think it's time"

As they settle into the room, Aimsey hits record and they both look into the camera

"Hey losers! Welcome to another episode of Faceless. And this episode is actually a bit of a special one" Willow says, turning to Jaxon

"Yup, it's special because it's actually our last episode" They look back at her and they both bite back sad smiles

"Making this content has been amazing. We've grown so much together but, it's time for us to move on. We won't completely disappear, planning on making content on our joint youtube channel, but we're gonna be doing some traveling around the world" Willow pipes up

"We've made content too much of our personalities, we can't fully escape it quite yet" Jaxon laughs

"But until then, let's have one more episode together, shall we?"

They spend the last episode looking over old content. Willow's first MCC, the Big Mac SMP, their lore streams, their name and face reveals. Big moments that helped shaped their career. They talked about how much they changed, what they found out about themselves.

"We changed a lot. For some reason I always kinda thought things would stay the same, that I would stay the same. But that's not the case. I've found new passions and new hatred. I've lost and gained friends. I have a completely different mindset on life than I did all those years ago" Willow explains

Jaxon nods and adds "We we're so fixated on keeping up that persona, and trying to be liked by our audiences we forgot how to be ourselves. But I'm glad we found that courage, and that we put ourselves first because now we're better than ever"

"This episode has been hella long, I think now might be the time to cut it off before they get extra tired of our voices, Jax" She laughs

"I agree" They lean over and gives them a side hug

She wraps an arm around them too and looks over at him "Thanks for always being with me, Jax"

"Thanks for always believing in me and staying with me, Will"

Thanks for being my faceless friend.

(an: lmao hey. it's been so fuckin long since i even thought about an ending for this book. literally almost a year since the last chapter. i know this went the ending you expected or wanted, but i wanted to at least give y'all some sort of closure lmfao.

overall, i just wasn't comfortable with this book anymore. i lost my hyperfixation a long time ago. i don't feel comfortable writing about ranboo in a romantic sense anymore. and i don't support dream or the dream team at all. and the biggest thing, i'm just a different person lmao. i've changed a lot, both with my writing and just me as a person.

the ending can be interpreted your way. whether they broke up and are still best friends or if they're dating, it's up to you. if you need clarification on anything i'll do a little qna or smth, just as questions here and i'll answer em.

if you wanna see more of my writing (that is significantly better) i write in Ao3 now. i writer about redacted audio, which is my current hyper fixation for the past year

i hope at least some but if closure was good for y'all. love y'all and i hope you're all doin well. remember you are beautiful, smart, loved, and valid <33 bye my darlings)
