Her head hurt. That's the first thing Marjorie registered as her eyes blinked open, the terrible ache in her head and ringing in her ears. The next was the hard cold surface she was laying on, but what confused her was the soft lap her head was laying on.

She finally managed to open her eyes and looked up to be met with a girl who looked to be a little bit older than herself looking down at Marjorie with a concerned look on her face.

"Hey, you're awake. Good. Are you ok?" The girl asked and Marjorie realized that she had her head propped on the girls lap and she was anxiously playing with Marjorie's shoulder blade length brown hair

"I don't know. My head hurts. Where are we? Who are you?" Marjorie asked wincing as her head pounded

"I'm Hayley and we were kidnapped. Witches I think." Hayley sighed helping Marjorie sit up. "What's your name?"

"Marjorie." Marjorie responded giving Hayley a small smile that she returned

"It's nice to meet you Marjorie, the circumstances suck but still good to meet you." Hayley said making Marjorie chuckle

"Likewise. Do you know why we're here?" Marjorie asked taking in her surroundings, it looked like they were in a crypt or mausoleum and with it being New Orleans there are plenty of those to go around so figuring out exactly where they were would be difficult

"I wish. They ambushed me out in the bayou then I woke up here just for them to tell me that I'm pregnant and the baby daddy is Klaus Mikaelson. They carried you in here a few minutes ago." Hayley said and Marjorie looked between her face and her stomach

"Congratulations?" Marjorie winced and Hayley chuckled

"Thanks, I think. Do you remember anything? Maybe why they took you because no offense but you seem way too young to be knocked up too." Hayley said making Marjorie's eyes widen

"Oh god no! I don't-I haven't, there's absolutely no chance of that. But, I don't remember anything. Last thing I can kinda remember was walking by the river, I like to watch the river boats and hear the music." Marjorie smiled softly, if there's one thing she's come to enjoy about this city it's the music

"I haven't been able to see much since I've been here, I've spent all my time trying to track my family down." Hayley said looking down sadly

"No luck?" Marjorie asked and Hayley shook her head. "I'm sorry. I know how it feels to wonder where you came from."

"You do?" Hayley asked intrigued
