An Adventure With The Decepticons

Ice Skating

It was now december, which meant tons of places were already getting ready for the holidays. You weren't doing anything today so you decided to take the cons to do something called ice skating. You weren't really good at it but it wouldn't hurt to learn with the rest of the gang together. So now here you were at the ice skating ring. It was pretty big so there was plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing.

"I don't know about this. Are you sure this is a good idea?" Clampdown asked, unsure if he really wanted to do this. "Yes as long as all of you are careful no one will get hurt. Don't try to skate too fast just go slow." When everyone was done putting on their skates you all went inside. Airazor and Divebomb went first and pretty much tried to run, eager to have some fun, with Fracture following behind because he always has to keep an eye on them. "Hey I said be careful don't rush!" you yelled. You were quite nervous but decided to do this anyway since it'd be fun, even if that meant falling every 5 minutes. 

Everyone kept slipping and falling more and more as they all struggled to learn. You were hugging the wall going slow, trying not to fall, but the cons however.. they had other plans and were trying to skate towards the middle since it has the most open space. All their shouting could be heard from a distance..

"Move ya blabbermouth, yous gonna make me fall if ya don't stop pushing me!"

"I'm trying but this things so slippery I'm gonna fall!"

"Will you two just shut up? You're slowing me down."

It was Steeljaw, Thunderhoof and Clampdown. They kept moving too close to each other on the icy ground and kept arguing until Steeljaw slipped and the three of them toppled over one another. You couldn't help but laugh a little. 

"What are yous laughing at?" Thunderhoof looked up and pointed at you, still on the ground. You then made your way towards them and helped them up. "Sorry, it was just a little funny." you said, doing your best to hold in your laugh so they wouldn't get angrier. Thunderhoof scoffed. "This is just a waste of time." He then got up and tried to leave, only to slip and fall again and hit the ground. "Screw this."

"Don't worry hoof you'll get the hang of it. I'm a human and i'm not even that good at ice skating either. We're all here to learn and have fun." 

"It is pretty funny seeing you there all helpless though." Steeljaw added, which made Thunderhoof glare at him.  

Just then you all saw Fracture and his minicons all ice skating gracefully. Your jaw dropped as you watched him do it with such ease. How did he learn so quickly? How were his MINICONS managing to do this without falling? Of all the cons he's the one who can do this flawlessly. "Show offs.." Steeljaw mumbled.

"Well i'm gonna go practice. You guys behave and NO fighting please." I said as I moved away from them. There wasn't much to do here other than skating or eating food so we probably won't say here for too long. And if people aren't careful either some end up injured so badly they end up needing an ambulance and we didn't wanna be one of those people today. I gripped the wall again for support as I slowly tried to skate, but I kept slipping and fell a few times. I look over and see all the other people that were here skating around and doing tricks, skating really fast, etc. I admirably watched them as they continued to pass by. I tried to follow and this time I was doing alright, but as I tried to speed up a bit I slipped and fell again, leaving me with a frustrated look on my face.

"Need some help?" I look up to see that it was Fracture. He lent me his hand and helped me get up. "Yeah, this is getting difficult." I replied. He chuckled and offered to ice skate around the ring with him. I agreed and for the next 30 minutes or so he was helping me learn to skate better. I held his hand as we skated around since he tried to encourage me to skate on my own without clinging onto the wall so much. I noticed Thunderhoof staring at me at some point and when I waved at him he just ignored me and looked annoyed. Weird.. I hope nobody did anything to upset him again.

Thunderhoof's POV

What is this feeling in my spark? I was watching Y/N as she was with Fracture and the entire time they were super close. I couldn't help but feel a bit sad. For some reason the thought of her being with another mech makes me angry. I don't know why I was feeling this way. I never cared for these squishy's. They're strange. But Y/N is different, and over time I grew close with her. She brings so much joy to my spark even if I don't show it at times. I don't know what this feeling is, but I hate it.

After about 2 hours everyone decided to regroup and take a small break from skating around since they were all getting pretty annoyed at not knowing what to do and falling so much. Poor Steeljaw had hurt his hand from hitting the ground too hard. We were sitting down on the benches until Underbite looked over at something and pointed it out. "What's that? That person is drinking something really hot." He asked. I turn my head, already knowing what he's talking about. "Oh, that's hot chocolate. You'll see a lot of places making them since it's holiday season. It's really delicious." As soon as I said that I could tell he wanted to try it and he got up to walk over where they were selling them. "Underbite wait- slow down!"

I followed him and we found where they were having hot chocolate. "Ooo tasty! That smells good." Underbite was watching as they made the hot chocolate to serve to people. "I have a feeling you'll like it. It's especially good with marshmallows, and a bit of peppermint." I said. "Peppermint? We wanna try some!" I turned around and saw Airazor and Divebomb. Fracture too. "Sorry, they wandered off and followed you. They seemed curious in whatever you guys were gonna get." I chuckled. "It's alright, i'll order one for you guys too." We waited on the line and soon after we all got our hot chocolate. 

We went back and Steeljaw was already eyeing my drink.  "That looks tasty. I can smell it from a mile away."

"It's hot chocolate. And if you want one you're gonna have to order your own." I said as I pointed to where we got it from. "Why do that when I can just have a taste of yours." Suddenly Thunderhoof took my drink and had a sip. "Hey! Ask first at least asshole!" He just looked at me and smirked. The nerve of this guy... I guess I didn't mind too much since the minicons and Fracture had to share theirs as well. After all money doesn't grow on trees and stuff is expensive in this economy. 

"It's not crunchy, but this stuff is awesome." Underbite already drank his whole cup within minutes. He had a bit of whipped cream on his face. Well, safe to say he loved it. That con can eat or drink anything and never dislike it. After our break we decided to go back into the ring for a bit seeing as there wasn't anything else here to do. And more people were coming in so we wanted to have a bit more fun before it got too crowded. Before I went in though I felt someone tapping on my shoulder.

"Y/N, would yous mind skating with me?"

I smiled at him and held out my hand. "Sure. But you better not make me fall too much. I've had enough of falling today." I jokingly said.

And so for the rest of the afternoon I spent time with Thunderhoof learning to ice skate together. Thanks to Fracture being a good teacher I was a bit better skilled at it, so now it was my turn to guide Thunderhoof. Poor guy kept slipping and fell a few times. It was funny but also kind of cute wanting to learn something like this and wanted me to be the one to help him. We stayed by each other's side until it was time to leave.
