"So Shinobu, you're the main lead of our production, and Rengoku, you're the male lead," the director explained, attempting to set the stage for the actors. Shinobu's mind started racing as she listened to the director's words. "Rengoku loves Shinobu, but she remains oblivious until Rengoku tragically dies. Then, Shinobu receives a mysterious letter from Rengoku's brother..." The words hung in the air, and Shinobu couldn't help but feel a sense of déjà vu. Her heart started pounding as she realized, "Wait a minute, this sounds eerily similar to my own story with Tomioka-san." Her gaze intensified as she stared at the director, a flurry of thoughts flooding her mind.

"Kocho, is there something wrong?" the director inquired, noticing the change in Shinobu's expression. Sensing that she needed to compose herself, Shinobu brushed away those swirling thoughts, attempting to regain her composure. "I think it would be better if we swapped roles," Shinobu stated, her tone filled with newfound determination. Rengoku, caught off guard by Shinobu's suggestion, couldn't contain his excitement as he chimed in, "I completely agree!"

The director pondered for a moment, weighing the potential impact of such a change. "Alright then, I'll have to consult with the writers to modify the dialogues accordingly," the director replied, nodding in agreement. A wave of relief washed over Shinobu, grateful that her instincts had led her to this decision.

Curiosity got the best of Rengoku, and he couldn't resist asking Shinobu about her motivation behind swapping roles. "May I ask why you decided to switch? Is there something specific about the other role that appeals to you?" he inquired, eyes filled with intrigue. Shinobu hesitated for a brief moment, searching for the right words to convey her thoughts. "Well, I believe I could bring a unique perspective to that role. It resonates with me on a deeper level," she explained, her voice tinged with a mix of vulnerability and excitement. Suddenly aware of how her words might come across, Shinobu rushed to clarify, "I apologize if that sounded narcissistic; it's just... the connection I feel towards it."

Rengoku, unable to contain his laughter, interjected, "Don't worry, Kocho! I understand completely. I actually had the same thought when considering the opposite role!" Shinobu's panic subsided as she saw the genuine amusement in Rengoku's face. "Really? I'm glad we're on the same page then," she confessed, a warm smile gradually replacing her initial anxiety. She lightly brushed her hand on Rengoku's shoulder, a gesture that radiated comfort and friendship.

"Please, there's no need to apologize," Rengoku reassured Shinobu, his cheeks flushed with a newfound shyness. "Are you alright, Rengoku-san?" Shinobu asked, concerned for his well-being. A gentle blush colored Rengoku's face as he replied, "Yes, Kocho, I'm perfectly fine. Don't worry about me!" He quickly bowed, seeking solace in the presence of his manager, momentarily escaping the intensity of the moment.

"But don't you think adding beef broth to it would enhance the flavor?" Mitsuri asked, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. Obanai considered her suggestion, his brow furrowing in thought. "Of course it would, but we must be cautious," he replied, his voice laced with a hint of concern. "Adding beef broth might disrupt the delicate balance of the consistency."

Mitsuri's face fell momentarily, but she quickly regained her cheerfulness. "You're right, Iguro-san! Balance is important. You're so talented at this, I admire your skills," she said, her admiration evident in her voice. Obanai shifted uncomfortably, feeling a seldom-seen warmth tugging at his heart. "Well, practice makes a man perfect, as they say," he mumbled, not quite meeting Mitsuri's gaze.

A smile brightened Mitsuri's face, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Iguro-san, could you teach me how to make those pancakes? I really liked them," she asked, her voice tinged with enthusiasm. Iguro hesitated for a moment, but then nodded, unable to resist her infectious energy. "I suppose I could share my pancake recipe with you. Just this once," he relented, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. Mitsuri's joy overflowed as she clapped her hands in delight.

As they continued their discussion about pancakes, a voice interrupted their pleasant moment. "What are you both doing? Don't you have a street shooting to attend to?" Their boss's stern tone broke the spell, and Mitsuri and Obanai quickly snapped to attention, nodding in unison. "Yes, we're on our way!" Mitsuri exclaimed, her enthusiasm undiminished even in the face of urgency.

Obanai couldn't help but roll his eyes in annoyance. "I don't like that woman," he thought to himself, his dislike for their boss ever-present. But then his gaze shifted to Mitsuri, her back to him as she hurriedly gathered her equipment. He watched her closely, his eyes softening with a mixture of admiration and concern.

"Mitsuri must be going through this almost every day," he mused silently, his mind filled with thoughts of her resilience. "No matter how bad she's treated or yelled at, she doesn't let it affect her. She doesn't show any bitterness or sadness," he marveled. Unbeknownst to Mitsuri, Obanai found himself staring at her, his normally stoic expression replaced with a faint trace of tenderness.

"Iguro-san, get ready!" Mitsuri's voice cut through his reverie, snapping him back to reality. He blinked, refocusing his attention. "Yes, of course," he replied, his tone slightly flustered. Obanai quickly moved to get ready, somewhat grateful for the distraction that their work provided. But in the back of his mind, he couldn't help but wonder about the depth of Mitsuri's resilience and the indomitable spirit hidden beneath her sunny exterior.

As Mitsuri and Obanai made their way to the street shooting, a sense of camaraderie blossomed between them. They focused on their task at hand, capturing the essence of the bustling city streets. Mitsuri's infectious energy and enthusiasm remained, even in the face of hectic crowds and demanding tasks.

Obanai observed her closely, realizing there was more to Mitsuri than met the eye. Her resilience and unwavering positivity intrigued him. He couldn't help but wonder what lay beneath her sunny exterior. The thought nagged at him, urging him to uncover the depths of her indomitable spirit.

Days turned into weeks, and the bond between them grew stronger. Pancake recipes were exchanged and cooking sessions turned into shared meals, allowing them to discover more about each other outside of their daily duties. Mitsuri's genuine curiosity and knack for finding joy in the simplest of things continued to amaze Obanai.
