The meeting went well; everyone did their best. Now, we are just waiting for Mr. Deshmukh to finish discussing with his secretary. Siya was all nervous sitting beside me, so I held her hand, gesturing for her to calm down.
"So, I think we are doing this deal. I loved your work, so congratulations and all the best" said Mr. Deshmukh, smiling at us
We both stood, shaking hands with him. After completing some paperwork, we made our way towards our office.
"I told you not to stress. See, we got the deal!" I squealed, looking at Siya.
"Yes! Finally, ab jaake kuch aram karne ko milega," she said, slumping into her chair.
"Chal, ek kaam karte hain, date par chalte hain," I proposed the idea, looking at her with a grin. It had been days since we went out together
"Okay, chalte hain. Your treat," she said, grinning at me
I nodded, and we left our cabin. While walking towards the parking lot, Siya received a call and asked me to go ahead.
I took out the car from the parking lot and waited for Siya to finish her call. After a while, she came running towards the car and sat in the passenger seat.
"Woah, woah, what happened?" I asked her.
"Nothing, let's go. I'll tell you later," she said, smiling widely.
I looked at her for a brief second, then started the car and drove off.

We reached the restaurant; Shreesha went to park the car while I waited near the entrance.
While waiting, I felt someone standing behind me. Looking back, I squealed and jumped, hugging the person tightly.
"Whoa, calm down, babe!" the person said, balancing himself and wrapping his arms protectively around me.
"I missed you!" I said, feeling my eyes getting teary.
"Aww, it's okay, babe. Look, I'm here. Don't cry," he said, caressing my hair.
"Sii, let's go," I heard Shreesha calling from behind us
I looked at him, got down from the hug, and turned to Shreesha, who was looking at the person stunned.
"WTF! Tu kab prakat hua?" she exclaimed, side-hugging the person.
"Abhi abhi," he replied, returning the hug with a smile
They both looked at me when Shreesha said, "And why are you crying? Shouldn't you be happy, finally meeting your boyfriend after months?"
"I'm not crying. I just got emotional meeting him after so long," I said, wiping away the tears from my eyes.
"Aww, mera baby, come here. Let me give you a hug," said Veer, pushing Shreesha away and hugging me.
Shreesha cringed while glaring at him, and I laughed at her reaction.
"Okay, now stop being lovey-dovey in front of my poor, single eyes. Come on, I'm hungry," she said, heading inside the restaurant.
We broke the hug and looked at each other. He looked at me oh so lovingly
"I missed you!" he said, taking my hand, kissing my forehead and knuckles.
"I missed you too. Why didn't you tell me you were coming today? I got to know from your assistant," I said, hitting his chest and glaring up at him.
"I wanted to surprise you, but that assistant of mine would not let that happen," he said, frustrated with his assistant.
"It's okay. Now that you're here, I won't leave you alone," I said, hugging him again, and he hugged me back.
Our moment was disturbed when Shreesha shouted from behind, "Are you guys coming, or should I start alone!!?"
Veer groaned in annoyance and glared at her while I chuckled at him. Then we both turned around and went inside
