I was just stuck in my place, looking at the man standing in front of me.

I don’t know what I was thinking; I zoned out while looking at him.

‘Bruh, what.the.fuck. HE IS SO HANDSOME!’ was the first thing that came to my mind.

I was lost in my thoughts when he fake coughed, bringing me back to reality.

‘Uh, wtf was I doing?’ I looked down, embarrassed.

“Uh, I'm sorry. I think it's the wrong tabl—” I finally said, coming out of my embarrassing self, but he cut me off, saying,

“Oh, no, no. This is the right table. I am Sanket’s friend,” he said, forwarding his hand for a handshake.

I awkwardly nodded while shaking hands with him.

“Oh, hi. Myself Shreesha Raichand, his cousin,” I said awkwardly.

He nodded, saying, ”I know.”

We were lost looking at each other when my phone dinged. Awkwardly laughing, I took my hand back, while he was still smiling at me.

I took out my phone only to see a text from my dear cousin.

‘I fixed a blind date for you. He is Ayansh, my friend. Behave nicely with him, and I'll call you later at night’

I looked at the text and then at the man in front of me in shock.

‘Wtf? What does he mean by blind date? He should have at least informed me!!’ I thought

“I guess you didn’t know about me,” he said, gesturing for me to have a seat.

“Uh-h, y-yeah,” I stammered.

“He said he wanted to meet and introduce me to someone,” I said, settling down in front of him.

He chuckled, sitting back in his place

What!?

He chuckled!!

He just chuckled, and that’s so fucking hot!!! I cried in my thoughts.

“He didn’t tell you about me?” he asked.

I shook my head.

“Let me introduce myself. Myself Ayansh Suryavanshi” he said.

“You don’t know me, I guess. I'm your cousin's friend. I came to his wedding too, but you didn't see me, I guess,” he said, smiling

And did I tell you that his smile is soo BEAUTIFUL!!

“Uhh, I'm sorry, but I didn't,” I said awkwardly, scratching the back of my neck

“No, no, it's okay. Umm, actually, I-I’ll say this directly,” he said hesitantly.

I hummed, and he looked directly into my eyes, saying,

“Uhm, uhm, actually, I saw you at his wedding, and I don’t know why, but I felt attracted to you. I wanted to know more about you, so I asked Sanket, but he declined. I have been requesting him ever since, and finally, he agreed and arranged this date for us.”

He said it in one breath, and I looked at him, shocked.

“WHAT!?” was the first thing that came out of my mouth.

He flinched.

‘Uhh, why do I always have to embarrass myself?’ I cried mentally.

“Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. That wasn’t supposed to be loud. I'm sorry,” I apologized.

He shook his head and smiled.

“No, it's fine. I know it's so sudden for you, but I can't help it. I'm a straightforward person,” he said.

“Uhh, yeah, I saw that,” I said awkwardly.

“So, what are we supposed to do, then?” I asked, not knowing what to say.

Obviously, because I HAVE NEVER BEEN ON A DATE BEFORE!
