"Morning," Haerin's voice cut through the quietude as she joined me, the subtle rustle of the early morning adding a gentle cadence to their shared moments. In Haerin's embrace, she held me in place, and we remained still. "You stayed," I whispered, the words escaping my lips like a quiet revelation. Haerin inhaled deeply, her response carrying a weight of promise. "I will always, always stay," she declared, and a warm flush of emotion washed over me.The rain outside intensified, creating a soothing melody.

Haerin remained silent for a moment, her cat-like eyes reflecting the lamplight. "Couldn't sleep," she finally admitted, her tone casual.

I scooted over, making room on the bed. "Join me then. Maybe the rain will help you relax," I suggested, patting the empty space beside me.

Haerin hesitated for a moment before gracefully settling on the bed. The rain continued its rhythmic dance outside, providing a comforting backdrop. "Why does it rain so much here?" she asked, her gaze fixed on the window.

"Forks has its own way of welcoming you – with rain and gloom," I replied, chuckling. "But there's something calming about it."

Haerin nodded, her fingers idly tracing patterns on the bedsheet. "It's different from the constant chaos we faced."

"Yeah, it's a different kind of chaos," I mused. "But it's ours."

We sat in companionable silence, the rain outside echoing our thoughts. On the fourth morning in Forks,I came to a realization— I enjoyed the comfort of being in Haerin's arms. Every fleeting thought of her was met with the reassurance that Haerin would be there, unwavering and ready for whatever came their way. Like now.

The room, wrapped in the remnants of our whispered confessions, began to simmer with an unexpected warmth. Haerin's gaze, intense and heated, met mine, and the air between us crackled with an unspoken tension.

"You make it hard to leave," Haerin admitted, her voice a velvet murmur that wove through the room, leaving an intoxicating trail in its wake. Her fingers traced idle patterns along my arm, sending shivers down my spine.

I could feel the boundaries between us blurring, the magnetic pull drawing us closer. The soft hum of rain outside acted as a backdrop to the symphony of emotions echoing within the room. The unspoken desire that had lingered between us found its voice in the charged atmosphere.

The seconds stretched, filled with anticipation, until Haerin's lips brushed against mine in a gentle caress. The kiss, a silent promise of uncharted territories, set the room ablaze with an undeniable passion that mirrored the storm outside.

Our kiss was an unspoken language, a connection that unfolded with every tender touch. Haerin's embrace was firm, and her lips traced a deliberate path, leaving a trail of kisses from my lips to my cheek, and slowly descending. The warmth of her lips on my neck sent shivers down my spine, and I couldn't deny the magnetic pull between us.

"You're irresistible," she murmured against my skin, her breath sending tingles through me. As she nibbled and left a mark on my neck, I fought the urge to deepen the connection. "It's barely morning," I shuddered, feeling her smile against the curve of my neck.

With a sudden bold move, she surprised me, and I couldn't help but yelp in response.

The door creaked open, abruptly separating Haerin and me. My dad peered inside, finding me alone in bed. "Everything okay?" he inquired. I nodded, my neck burning red from both embarrassment and the lingering warmth of our interrupted moment.
