Part Two: Ingredient Intrigue
Chapter 15: The Start of a Dreamy Voyage

Having spent the rest of their busy day resting, relaxing, playing, and giving King Dedede and the Waddle Dee trio a brief tour of the Cookie Kingdom, Kirby and his friends headed over to the inn to rest for the night. GingerBrave and other Cookies accompanying them to the inn.

"Surprised you're still tired Great King," Bandana Dee commented "You spent quite some time sleeping on that bench."

Dedede shrugged. "Hey, I am king, in order to maintain my mighty spirit I've got to get plenty of beauty sleep."

"You said it!" Custard Cookie III nodded "Us royals need plenty of rest to recharge our royal stature."

"Heheh, yeah." Dedede chuckled "What he said."

Arriving at the inn, the group discussed if the recently found and rescued friends should have a separate room from the ones the rest of the Star Allies were staying at.

"There are sofa beds you could sleep in." Strawberry Cookie mentioned "But if you would rather have your own rooms, we can talk to the innkeeper about it."

"No, the sofa beds will be fine." Dedede reassured her, the Waddle Dee trio nodding in agreement "I can stay with Kirby, Elfilin, and Magolor, and my Waddle Dees can stay with Adeleine and Bandana, if they don't mind that is."

"Not at all Great King!" said the smallest Waddle Dee.

Wizard Cookie sweated nervously, pointing his wand. "What about... him."

Everyone turned to Marx, who was smiling mischievously and making puppy eyes. "Yeah, what about me?"

The group was silent for a moment, unsure looks on their faces, eventually Bandana Dee sighed and spoke up.

"Here, you can sleep in my bed, I'll sleep in the sofa bed with my fellow Waddle Dees. I'm sure there's enough room for the four of us."

Marx grinned, then went up to Bandana Dee and gave him a nuzzle. "Thanks Bandana! You're too kind!"

"You're welcome Marx..."

Adeleine smiled and shook her head, then resumed a contemplative look that had been on her face almost all night. Something that GingerBrave took notice of.

"Something up Adeleine?"

"I've been thinking," she started saying "if we want to find the rest of our friends, we're going to need to do more than just tell other Cookies about them. We've got to share more than just their names, and the best way to do that, is with pictures!"

Adeleine then brought out a pencil and raised it up. "So what I'm going to do, is I'm going to draw the rest of the friends we need to find, and make missing posters! That way if anyone has seen our friends, once they see a poster they can come to us and tell us where they saw them!"

"That's a great idea!" Princess Cookie said in encouragement.

"Just don't spend all night drawing them." Knight Cookie suggested.

Adeleine shrugged and scratched the back of her head with her free hand. "I'll try not to."

"Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't overwork herself." Bandana Dee said with a wink.

Nodding, GingerBrave looked at the rest of Kirby's group. "I think we'll head off then. Hope you all have a good night."

"Goodnight GingerBrave!" Kirby happily waved to him "Thank you all so much for helping me find my friends today!"
