Part 20

I can't win against Suraj so I decided to tell him how everything started

Two n half years ago~

I completed my post graduation a year ago & cracked NET at my first attempt. I joined Jadavpur University as a guest lecturer and started working under my role model.

I was on my way to our staff room when I heard some murmurs & people rushing here n there. It's a everyday story but today it seems a bit suspicious. As soon as I entered there I saw a worried Juhi...
~"What's wrong Juhi?" I asked being concerned
~"Uff...I don't know how will I handle everything...they should've informed us faster" she whined
~"But what is the matter?" I asked confused
~"Ohh lord! They might not have informed you yet"
~"Ye-aahh"
~"Actually IPL is starting within two weeks so RCB & KKR is coming to CAB (Cricket Association Of Bengal) play ground for practice. Our dean informed me that me & professor Sen of Chemistry department is going to arrange everything for them"

~"Woowwwwww...that's crazy. But what's wrong in it?" I exclaimed in excitement
~"You forgot? I told you i'm going to take a leave for 3 days because of some personal issues"
~"Ohh ye-yeahh...so what are you gonna do now?"
~"Can you do me a favour Yuv? Please" she said giving me puppy eyes
~"Me? But how can I?"
~"Ohh honey you can . You just have to take my position & take care of everything. You don't have to worry i'll talk with our dean" she said holding my arms
~"But i'm new in here, do you think I can do that?"
~"Babe you're perfect also you love cricket. I don't even know much about them. Please say yes it a win win situation babe" she started pleading
~"Oh-Okay...It's a yes from me" I spoke softly
~"Great i'm telling this to dean" She jumped in excitement & hugged me then rushed towards deans room

I didn't know what I was feeling. I love cricket and always wanted to meet them & my dream was about to come true so I was feeling numb out of happiness.

Juhi talked with our dean & thankfully he approved me. Soon I was informed with everything and even had a little talk with professor Sen. It's friday & they are coming on Sunday so we have 2 days to complete our arrangements. We first informed all the students through notices then talked with field manager for safety managements.

2 days later it was finally sunday today, I was dying out of happiness & excitement. I wanted to look good and presentable so I wore a saree & did a little makeup then finished my look with Daisy flowers

We were standing infront of CAB ground & waiting for their arrival.
Few stuffs were with us & we were checking everything. Large amount of students gathered behind barricades & as soon as the bus show up they started screaming like maniacs.

Two buses stopped by, then players started coming down, their management team & body guards were everywhere making sure this place is safe.
As soon as the players enerted the gate me & Mr. Sen started handing them flowers as greetings. My heart started beating very fast seeing Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj, Rajat Patidar & others. I was on cloud nine as it's a dream come true moment.

But after them it was team KKR & as soon as my eyes fell on Shreyas Iyer I stopped breathing, I felt like dying,,,how can a person be so breathtaking & heavenly beautiful?! I was so lost in him that everything around me got blurred & all I can see is him. I didn't even noticed when he stood infront of me then waved his hands to get me back to my senses. I felt extremely embarrassed & shy but his smile made it less awkward. Then we greeted other players but my eyes were stuck on Shreyas.

CAB ground is actually under Jadavpur University
&
Cricketers and other sports mans actually come here for practice time to time. Last year LSG & RCB came here for practice before IPL so lemme share some rare pics 😁
